Now Kabimba Hits Back at Kambwili ‘Kambwili Is Part Of Tribal Clique Sponsoring Anarchy In PF’

WYNTER Kabimba says Sports Minister Chishimba Kambwili is part of the ‘tribal cliqued’ individual elements sponsoring youths to rise against him in the ruling Patritotic Front (PF).

Kabimba’s statement comes in the wake of outspoken National PF youth chairperson Chishimba Kambwili’s statement yesterday in Lusaka that ‘Mr Kabimba should own up on his presidential ambitions instead of being arrogant and maligning his own party over alleged tribalism’.

At a media briefing in his office, Mr Kambwili said Mr Kabimba was being hounded out of office because party cadres were incensed by his presidential ambitions.

He said it was unfortunate for Mr Kabimba to label his own party as tribal instead of ensuring that there was discipline within party structures to make it stronger.

Mr Kambwili who is Youth and Sport Minister, said Mr Kabimba, as chief executive officer of the party should humble himself rather than continue being arrogant.

“When similar demonstrations were held against Given Lubinda, he kept quiet, why can’t he as well keep quiet now that it is on him? As leaders we should stop being arrogant. As SG, he must work hard to shield the party from indiscipline and the tag of tribalism,” Mr Kambwili said.

He said the PF was ‘dead’ unless the secretariat was re-organised and focused on its mandate to work for the people.

Mr Kambwili said Mr Kabimba, who is Justice Minister, had prior to the suspension of Mr Lubinda, stood his ground by stating that party cadres who were protesting at the time, were merely exercising their right to demonstrate.

On remarks by Mr Kabimba that since the country’s political inception, PF cadres were the worst in terms of discipline, Mr Kambwili described the statement as unfortunate to have been issued by a senior party official.

He urged Mr Kabimba to instill discipline in the party and apologise for the manner the party cadres had treated Mr Lubinda.

He said the PF should not become a battlefield for members with personal agendas ahead of the 2016 general elections.

When a fish starts to rot, it starts from the head. The problems in the PF are a result of incompetence on the part of the party’s CEO, Kabimba. He lacks skills and maturity to manage or co-ordinate the affairs of the party. The task, which requires level headedness, is too huge for Kabimba.

@Ely….lol….no am not tonga. But what has my comment got to do with the fact that I may be tonga or not? The fact of the matter is that some of us are sick and tired of PF’s inhouse fighting. We want progressive news now. But can we really blame this Government for what is happening? No we cant because one can only give what they have. People who have love give out love and those with strife give out strife. If I didn’t have any reason not go give PF a negative vot in 2016, now I have. This party is so immature and it must go.

Kabimba outmately wants to be the next president after King Cobra. But he started it wrongly. He started by intimidating others instead of being good and kind so that he would win everyone to his side. Alas, it has all gone wrong. The dream has been shattered. Let him appologise, forget his presidential ambitions and approgise to those that need appology, keep his job and work quietly.

One thing I can guess for sure is that the President is not going to “fire” Kabimba from his party position. For Kabimba’s political survival, he must remain and play it low in the party – putting aside presidential ambitions, and making peace with anyone he offended. (This will help improve his image) As for the tribalism that is circulating in this nation: starting from most bloggers here (whom, unfortunately, the most are the young people), and showing itself in political parties; its a pity as we are taking this country backwards – 50 or so years ago. We are the new generation: we went to schools where we had people from all tribes so at least our thinking should be different… Let’s build a country that supports free expression of every one, where innovation can be nurtured from all; so that we can be a haven of realisation of people’s dreams and aspirations. And I’m not only talking about political dreams here, but any that help in development of the country. Bye.

never know what he is planing he may destroy the big man so he is being dealt with indirectly no wonder he was been too quite on this issue& allowed the debate to go on so as to expose all winters followers remember he was been in kabimba’s shoes before under FTJ so he is a step ahead of him
