Vice President Guy Scott has differed with President Michael Sata on Robert Chikwelete who the president has appointed as the interim Lusaka district Chairperson.
During the vice president’s question time in Parliament this morning, Dr Scott said Mr Chikwelete is a self imposed Lusaka district PF Chairman.
Dr Scott who was responding to a question by Kasenengwa Member of Parliament,Victoria Kalima who wanted to know whether it was now government policy for party officials to give instructions to the Police in reference to Mr Chikwelete, said Mr Chikwelete is not the Lusaka district chairman stating that he is a self appointed chairman.
But during the recent commissioning of the Pave Zambia 2000 in Chawama compound in Lusaka, President Michael Sata referred to Chikwelete as the Lusaka district chairman who he also allowed to address the gathering in the presence of Dr Scott.
Meanwhile Dr Scott says the roadmap for the new constitution will only be known once the Technical Committee on drafting the constitution presents the final draft constitution.
Dr Scott was responding to a question by Chipili Member of Parliament Davis Mwila who wanted to know the roadmap for adopting the constitution in view of the indication by the Technical Committee that it will hand over the final draft to the President at month end of October.

Clearly,Guy Scott has differed with his Boss.Michael Sata was very clear when he confirmed Chikwelete as Lusaka District PF Chairman when he addressed a meeting in Chawama which Guy Scott attended. How does Chikwelete become self imposed Lusaka district PF Chairman?

l think the president was very clear on Chikwelete’s apointment though that position someone has to be elected among pf members but stil the president has powers to apoint and disapoint jst like he apoints non MPs to be ministers.

Hope everyone is following seriously the happenings in Kenya, According to an intelligence report on the Standard Media Leaked NIS document details terrorist plots of an attack in Nairobi between September 13 and 21 Alshabaab intends to target countries with Kenya’s interest and Zambia is next . It is time to hold the Govt accountable to ensure that our country and borders are safe.
“Elsewhere, the Al Shabaab is contemplating attacking Kenyan interests in other countries, starting with Zambia, but the timing, target and methods are still unclear. Kenyan interests anywhere in the world, therefore, remain the militant’s potential targets of attack as the Kenya Defence Forces and AMISOM exert pressure on them, and the imminent capture of Kismayu,” reads the report.
Tumfweko please publish the story on standard media newspaper in Kenya and hold our Govt accountable.God richly bless Zambia.

Home Affairs Minister Edgar Lungu says government has heightened security measures following online reports that Zambia is among the countries targeted to be attacked by Al Shabaab Militia.
Mr. Lungu told ZNBC News in a phone interview that people should also be on alert following these reports. He has appealed to the media to help government in sensitizing the masses.
Leaked intelligence reports published by Standard Digital News state that Al-Shabaab who are linked to the recent Kenya attacks are contemplating attacking Kenyan interests in other countries starting with Zambia. However the report states that the timing, targets and methods are unclear. Source ZNBC
