Mulongoti Commends SATA Over RB’s Passport

Opposition People’s Party president Mike Mulongoti has commended President Michael Sata for directing that former President Rupiah Banda be given a new Diplomatic Passport to enable him travel to South Africa for treatment.

Mr. Mulongoti says Mr.Banda is not the type of man who can run away from the court cases he is currently facing.

Mr. Mulongoti says he is hopeful that Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Mutembo Nchito will not stand in the way or interfere with the president’s decision.

Mr. Mulongoti says it is regrettable that the former president’s diplomatic passport was revoked on the pretext that he would run away.

I am sure after sensing that the PF is loosing popularity because of harassing the former president, violent cadre behaviour and recent loss in by election. the PF has its tail between the legs in surrender. I wont be surprised if a permit is given to UPND to hold a rally in madevu and also retreat on subsidy watch this space. PF no direction what so ever. Do the right things if you want to remain in power a little longer vindictiveness never pay in this life.

correct. Sata has began to take charge of his leadership. Sata is no longer under the control of the post, mmembe, DPP and kabimba etc.2 permits issued to UPND and the Black Friday campaigners. Zambia is movin forward.

@Jameson K, you hit the nail on head. Also Sata is desperate after both him and Mpezeni were rejected in Mkaika.

@Isaac, messing up with the name from the bible, sata is slowly realising that his time will soon be over, the votes from some parts speaks for themselves, so he is doing himself a favour, not Banda, – do unto to others as u expect them to do unto you, his time will soon be over, so he is arresting the situation- IN CONSTRUCTION FIRMS WE CALL THIS KIND OF SITUATIONS – UNDERPINNING- so he is underpinning his favour stands before he gets out. Ba Kasenge Richard naimwe mula kolwa, as if you are your family are the key voters, then you should have trippled the votes in Mkhaika and Kafulafuta, you must be blind indeed. keep sleeping and yarning for the better.

Which votes and from which part of the country are comparing to Sata? Failing to read between the student which votes have dwindled any way. DO not get confused Sata’s popularity to the places where he has no MP
