Opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) President Hakainde Hichilema has observed that the Patriotic Front (PF) have not created any jobs to boast about.
Speaking during a Public Rally in Lusaka’s Mandevu area on Sunday afternoon, Mr. Hichilema says it is not possible that the PF has created a lot of jobs for the Zambian people when the Pay as you earn roster remains the same.
Mr. Hichilema says a lot of people have become poorer because of the policies that the PF have created which are working to their advantage.
He adds that President Sata has completely failed to govern the nation as it can be noticed from the many challenges the people of Zambia have been subjected to.
Speaking at the same rally, UPND Vice President, Dr. Cannicius Banda says the Zambia Police Service is also feeling the impact of the problems the PF has created for the people of Zambia and that is the reason why they have allowed the UPND to hold the rally.
Dr. Banda says money has lost value under the PF regime and thus the need to change government in 2016.
Speaking earlier, Political Activist Dante Saunders says President Sata has failed the people of Zambia and it’s high time Zambians tried to put a young president in the office.
Mr. Saunders says Zambia needs a young and vibrant leader to correct all the wrongs that the PF has created for the past two years.

why we need to change government in 2016
1. unfulfilled promises by PF
2. lawlessness by PF carders, PF no respect for constitution- CJ
3. high cost of living, ie mealie meal, transport, fuel, sugar, cement, bread, name anything.
4. quarelling ministers
5. high levels of corruption, in contracts award
6. Bloated number of ministers and deputy ministers
7. Tribalism in appointments
8. old age beyond 70 years capacity to think is reduced
9. No sanity in trading vendors are every where creating congestions
10 .Government quarrelling with everyone, NGO, Chiefs, opposition.
11. Unnecessary bye- elections
12. High unemployment levels
13. Zambians we should be serious if we want our country to develop vote wisely

You got most of the valid reasons why PF should not see the next term in office. The major one you left out is the lack of a visionary leader in the PRESIDENT!!!!

Hakainde is fighting for a political space therefore he will not or seem to agree that really jobs have created. His mentality is so stereotyped to the extend that he sees nothing good. The Mandevu flopped rally is just an ice berg now and future scenarios.

Zambia is a big country and Mandevu is just part of it.
People are seeing projects everywhere being in rural or urban. The voting pattern of Southern Province over years has changed people’s minds.
There are so many eyes that are open but very few that see. Wait for 2016.

What criteria has Hakainde to create jobs for every youth in a space of two years? Because even Obama is struggling to bridge the gap. Mind you USA is a heavily industrialized country but they are complaining about lack of employment opportunities. Hakainde should come out in the open and tell the youth and the general public on how he is going to employ every youth who is graduating every year in our colleges and universities rather than criticizing every day without tangible solutions. He has to understand that the one who will lead his party to victory in the distant future is not him and not even his relatives as my friend has already alluded to.

That is why minimum wage jobs are exempted from paying tax, HH should read the new tax code! Pay as you earn is not an indicator of job creation, if HH wanted to see it change dramatically, he should have been more supportive of the minimum wage bill not against it! If the minimum wage is $8.50 per, he will see the PAYE roster increase significantly because everyone will be paying tax! A job is a job,as a leader HH should be encouraging people to take up any jobs instead of engaging in other vices! People should not forget that many people lost their jobs under his failed privatization leadership.

MiG YOU’RE CORRECT, THIS MAN NEVER THOUGHT OF THE DOWNTRODDEN PIPO AT THAT TIME OF HIS SHAMEFUL PRIVATIZATION. THE ONLY THING THAT WAS MOVING IN HIS BRAIN WAS TO BECOME RICH AT A TENDER AGE. Today he is not even mentioning of revamping those companies which will in turn accommodate the youth in terms of employment. As a liquidator he is/was safe.Shame on this man coz he is not even consisted in dealing with national issues.
