Herve Renard’s assistant Patrice has taken over reigns as Chipolopolo boys boss after Renard joins French club Sochaux.
FAZ spokeperson Erick Mwanza confirmed in a statement today that the 2012 Africa Cup winning coach had left Zambia after a second spell at the helm.
“The Football Association of Zambia hereby announces the release of Herve Renard from the job of National coach of the Zambian National Football Team. The 2012 Nations Cup winning coach has been offered a wonderful opportunity at FC Sochaux in the top league in France,” Mwanza said.
And Renard will be reunited at Sochaux with his protege Emmanuel Mayuka who is on a one year loan deal with the second from bottom club French Ligue one club.

Not bad choice as this guy already understands Zambian football since he worked with Fox. @least he is also pleasant on the eye, can’t wait to see his trademark colour.

Patrice looks more handsome than HR, I only hope even his (Patrice’s) coaching skills will be better than those of the former coach. Welcome Patrice
