Standing in those trains does not affect their life span or how long they will be in good condition. Urge them to take care of them by servicing them instead. They are built to carry a lot of tones, make sure you the people also keep them clean!

There is too much talking by this Professor. We want action. The railways stations need attention. they are just as dirty as the time of ZRS. The railway sidings are completely dead. All what we have seen is acquisition of Professorship! We are not interested in this but immediate clearing of the sides of the railway tracks,railway station rehabiliation. This will create employment. Are you waiting for the rolling stock before you start cleaning up the premises? Come on guys lets be serious. No more theories but lets be pragmatic.

It was silly,inane and irresponsible for ZRL to admit that they overload passengers on their trains due to high demand with some passengers occupying toilets and standing in the aisles. The danger ZRL subjects the public to is unimaginable and must be stopped forthwith.

Just how insensitive can ZRL management be to publicly declare this level of irresponsibility on national TV?

And how can they possibly aspire to even run faster trains of up to 80kmph or above when scores of houses have been built on the railway line in Chawama and Lilayi.

Do they think of the carnage that would occur if a ZRL train derailed and ploughed into these houses built hardly 25m from the rail line in some cases?

2.Was the supplier the best evaluated (technical and price)
3.Are the coaches second hand or new
