HH Selfish – Sata

President Michael Sata has advised UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema to always endeavour to sell a personal image of unity and patriotism.

The President described Mr. Hichilema’s call on Zambians to shun the Independence Day celebrations as an insult to freedom fighters and many who lost their lives to liberate this country.

“Mr. Hichilema’s efforts to entice Zambians with such ‘pick- pocket schemes’ are proof of his inappropriateness to be considered for public office. We know he is desperate to manufacture excuses to justify his dwindling political fortunes but let him for once respect moments that bind us together as Zambians,” the President said.

“More fundamentally, Independence Day celebrations are well beyond partisan politics as they signify the country’s historical victory and remind us of where we are coming from as a people. Therefore, I find it hard to believe that a person aspiring to lead our beloved country should be the one in the forefront fanning such unpatriotic tendencies.

“Mr. Hichilema’s irresponsible utterances only go to show his self-centredness and glutton. In fact, both his professional and political life bear features of a transmissible existence. Probably, this why he does not value other people’s hard work because he is used to take over benefits born out of other person’s sweat and blood.”

President Sata advised the UPND leader to embrace nation building, unity and development in his quest for public office.

    Some say its unfair 2 celebrate some say its alright…who says the truth? these things are well tailored in our constitution of Zambia so when HH comes into power he shall not change it. Sata is just following what has already been billed. Sata mostly shunned because MMD could not allow me or else it was going to be war. He was avoiding provocation so heprefered to send some one some MMD cadres could not recognize fast. He never incited violence even where we could all see ati Bamufyenga but he could come out strongly to cool down people that ‘I know its a bitter pill to swallow but cool down because the right time will come. So HH comes out with some kind of rage, anger, hatred and lamentations as if paliba abamufyenga. what more ngeo balefyenga kuma past elections bushe ichalo ngatachaba pamulilo. Mazoka was the one and not HH……

    When you stole Zambian people’s money through privatisation, you condemned millions of them including their children to abject poverty. You brought Luanshya to a dead city because of your appetite for wealth. We will never forget.

    The only thing you left millions of Zambians with is the same independence you are now condemning.

    How can they wine and dine when you stole of their monies?

    Why does HH always go against the wind? How can a Politician aiming to a leader of a nation encourage the nation’s citizens not to celebrate the nation’s independence? Has he forgotten that without this same independence which people died for, there would not have been an opportunity for him to vie for Presidency?

    @ student,

    The truth hurts. I will not insult you back but just encourage you to advise your brother to check his mouth. Being a political success does not depend on one’s wealth.

    Politics is not for the faint hearted. As long as HH continues to utter nonsense on the political arena, he will be met with proper force and fire he desrves.

        @Maiko

        So you and your HH think by doing everthing that Sata did, HH will go to state house because Sata also managed to go to state house? That is where you and your HH are getting it wrong.

        What worked for Sata may not always work for HH. He should find his own formula. The political landscape is changing. He can’t still depend on Sata’s formula.
        Look at what has happened to him for instance? Sata never got this nationwide condemnation. But HH has tried it and everyone has condemened him apart from your people enjoying the money he stole from the Zambian people through Privatisation.

    Sata is getting his own medicine. Chili pa munobe, chili pali iwe. If HH comes into power, others will shan his functions as well. In Zambia the fighting was against each other as Zambians. How many were killed by whites fighting for independence? Against the Muzungu it was fighting with words, while the followers of the would be leaders were stoning each other.
