League top scorer Reynold Kampamba to lead Zambia Under-23 against their Under-20 counterparts in an Independence Day friendly on October 24.
The match will be played at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka as part of Zambia’s 49th independence anniversary.
“The Under-20 team will use the match as part of their preparations for the 2013 COSAFA junior championship to be held in Lesotho in December while the Under-23 national team will use the match to kick-start their preparations for Rio 2016 Olympic qualifying matches which start early next year,” FAZ said in a statement.
The 21-year-old Kampamba currently leads the MTN/FAZ Super Division top scorers log on 14 goals this season.
He is also one of two Nkana players in the 18-member Under-23 team that goes into camp in Lusaka on Tuesday under Hector Chilombo and Tennant Chilumba will be in joint charge of the side.
Nkana first choice goalkeeper Charles Mweemba is the other player in the team that also includes Zanaco striker Moses Phiri who was part of Zambia’s 2013 Cosafa Cup winning side.
