Teacher Loses Life For Advising Pupils To Study Hard
A teacher in Nyimba was stoned to death in a manner similar to the Biblical stories where the practice was a form of capital punishment preserved only for those with high crimes such as murder.
Ostensibly, the ‘executioners’ are not known or have not been identified yet but their motive, according to police, is that they were allegedly angered at the fact that the teacher rebuked a Grade 12 girl he found chatting with men late in the night.
Lundu Mbulo, a teacher at Mulilo Primary School, had advised the girl to concentrate on her studies instead of hanging around with men at awkward hours.
Eastern Province commissioner of police Grace Chipalila said yesterday that Mr Mbulo was killed last Wednesday at Chinsimbwe village in Chieftainess Mwape’s area in Nyimba.
She said Mr Mbulo went to a nearby shop to buy airtime around 22:00 hours and on his way, he met one of the Grade 12 girls chatting with men.
“He approached the girl and advised her to study instead of spending time with men. On his way back after buying airtime, he still found the girl chatting with men and when he again tried to advise her against doing so, the villagers descended on him and stoned him to death,” Ms Chipalila said.
She described Mr Mbulo’s death as sad and advised people against taking the law into their own hands.
“The advice the teacher was giving to the girl was genuine and correct. We need to respect teachers because we need them,” Ms Chipalila said.

Talk time can be bought any time even after mid night if you want to make urgent call. Have you heard of 24hour shops? They sell talk time there among other things. Mulekeni teacher umwine

Its very sad but it is also possible that despite the apparently sound advise the teacher was giving, he was equally involved with the girl and was probably hurt that she cheating on him.
Who knows, may be he had even given her the now famous exam elakages, which is why he was insisting she goes to study, the girl must be apprehended, if she has not been already to help police with investigations!!!

The teacher is suspicious as well. 22hrs buying talktime. Finds girl with men, courageously confronts her to get away from the men. Back from kantemba, confronts her again? Now the villagers as well how do you stone someone to death over a girl? The girl will surely reveal their identity and they will answer.

This is a very sad incident. Nomba sure nankwe Teacher ukusoka umwana we sukulu u ushumfwa twice in one night??? The reason he too was out is surprising. Some of today’s school children have no respect for their teachers and other elders no wonder the girl didnt listen to him the first time he approached her kanshi nga bamulekele fye. Mayoo afwila umwana uushumfwa sure!Ama situations yamo awe mwe.Definitely the culprits will be in soup but it is sad that a life has been lost.

Where is this so called twelve girl, who knows her who heard the teacher advising the grade twelve pupil the one who heard knows the killers. The girl also knows the killers has she been arrested, if not well what are we waiting for.

These are the same girls who are busy scouting and hunting for the so-called leakages in the dark of the night when its exam time. She must be arrested and prosecuted as she is a prime suspect.

Its funny cause she was a grade 12 pupil and he was a primary school teacher so whats connection?> How did he know her. Also being so nosy and “advising” her at night twice majes one suspicious the two had a relationship going on. Obviously a scuffle ensured and the men who were talkking with the girl are the ones who killed the chap. Its a classic love triangle kind of s h i t.
