Gay Zambian Leaders Meet In Sweden To Raise Money To Promote Gay Rights In Zambia

A group of  well know Zambian gay and lesbian leaders  have travelled to Stockholm Sweden , to attend a fundraising event called the Rainbow leadership program , were they hope to raise some funds from various  donors from Southern Africa that are still attending the event. It has been stated that the groups hopes to raise enough resources in order to implement their projects and activities in Zambia of promoting gay rights in Zambia. The faction, left for Sweden nearly two weeks ago, and is expected to arrive back in the country nemeeting in swedenxt week on Friday. According to sources, The group  has thus far raised  about $41,000 , is been represented by three of Leaders Chengo ,Chintu,  Prince Masiwe, and Juliette Mpanda, and Chalwa Renner .

Earlier these year Home affairs Minister Edgar Lungu was quoted as having stated “Those who are advocating for gay rights should go to hell!  That is not an issue we will tolerate” The Minister had said.

This latest development comes as a result of, a  raise in a number of homosexuality practices  in Zambia, which has been exasperated by the high poverty and unemployment rates .    Kabwe Mwansa, aged 18 of house number 7840 Kaunda Square stage one Lusaka , recently Narrated how he was lured into homosexual practices upon having met with the leaders of the group who at the time had just returned from another fundraising trip from South Africa in 2012. He Narrated how the leaders of the gay community in Zambia promised, him ,that they would pay for his school fees, provide him with subsistence allowance to assist him support his struggling parents and above secure himself a brighter future. If he slept with some men .

The later boy decided to confess to his parents, after he was questioned as to where he was getting money to buy all the clothing that he had acquired when his parents were unable to provide him with fancy things.    The matter has since been reported to  Emmas dale  Police station where a docket has been opened pending the further investigations upon the alleged perpetrators arrival in Zambia in Zambia , next week where they shall officially be charged.

Mean While International Fellowship of Christian Churches ( IFCC) President Simon Chihana has strongly condemned these  the promotion of gay rights in Zambia when he said “ Gay rights should not be allowed in Zambia, ‘Such kind of acts are  an  abomination’  The government should not even think of  allowing such, no matter the pressure from the international community or what so ever.” He added.

First and foremost, why is homosexuality coming out so strong under PF Government? Honestly just look back and you will agree with me. It is because the president had once mentioned that people have a right to practice their sexual rights. Chimba Chimba the Third even showed him saying this on one of his programmes. So let us not be surprised. If this was one of his campaign strategies, let him come back to the drawing board and clear his opinion on homosexuality (even if it means apologizing to the Zambian people). Up and until his does this, believe me this is gonna be a problem.

This article is just wrong. How do you sleep at night without even thinking about the trauma you are putting the innocent people through? Why is being gay so harshly judged? What does it to you? How does it affect you? Rapists and pedophiles do not even receive this kind of hatred and yet people who cannot help but be who they are are condemned to death? Christianity should be about love but more often than not, we do the worst possible things in the name of ‘christianity’. Doesn’t in boggle you that in a world full of homophobic people, someone still stays gay? Please do your research about gay people. My heart goes out to the innocent people mentioned in this article, gay or not. They are human. These could be our brothers, sisters, friends and colleagues. It breaks my heart to think there is so much hostility because of the love between two consenting human beings.

Imagine an article, exactly the same, but about religion.
Four Christian Zambians went to a religious freedom conference in Sweden. Their names are nn, mm, and pp. They plan to raise money for their cause.
A young woman tells how leaders of this religion has offered a better life and even eternal life if she would believe in their God.
Then imagine the comments being. “jail them. Burn them. Kill them. It’s unzambian, it’s PF’s fault.”

Being gay is NOT a choice. Why would anyone choose to be hated, threatened and possibly sent to jail?
I believe most of the people claiming being gay is a choice would not mind travelling in a car, using a computer or be operated on by a doctor when they were sick.
The same science that led to those inventions also found that homosexuality is not a choice but something people are born with.

It’s sickening to read how people who call themselves Christian can be so ignorant and hateful. You will surely be judged by the Lord for being so unchristian. Even the Pope has repeatedly said that gay people should have human rights and be treated with respect.

I’m a very proud Zambian miles away from home. All of the sudden i had my friends back home sending me this link. My first reaction was nonsense just from looking at the headline, then i scroll down only to see my very good friend’s picture with the bottom stating “her” as a man in make – up. What kind of poor journalism is this? It’s clear that you people having nothing to right about! To you so called people of God who are writing all these horrible things, i pity you. You are so unexposed, uneducated and sooo unchristian yourselves… Shame on you all!!! If we had such people who are in Sweden right now, representing Zambia in other areas of major concern like poverty, Diseases, trust me Zambia would have been a better place now. Those individuals there are power young men and women who know what to say, how to say it and when to say it. Ba Zambia, very disappointing!

This is the most Discriminatory piece of writing I have ever read written by a Zambian against his or her own country Men who are just different from him. The writer of this article and all those Pharisees making derogatory comments against gays and lesbians must hung in hell. You like it or not Gays and Lesbians too are sons and doughters of our beloved Zambia and by the way, you must be so dull to the born to assume that this is a western life style, no it is not, there is a percentage of us born that way and it is scientifically proven. Some people are even born with both sexes well developed and functional, how do you classify those?
Stop hating other people and go back to doing something positive for your lives and love everyone unconditionally.

I love my Gays and Lesbians friends and all those I do not know in person. This fight is not only yours guys it is a civil rights issue in our modern day Zambia and i stand with you. A Luta Continua!!!

The bible has put it clear that the last days will be very difficult days.Wake up friends,Jesus is about to come.He warned that when you begin to see all these things such as homosexuals, look up for your redemption draws near.By the way, homosexuality is beyond Zambia. It is the program of Lucifer. At some point,it will come to pass.As the days of Noah were so shall it be at the coming of Jesus. The sad thing is that they didn’t know until destruction came upon them.Wake up my fellow servants of GOD.Let us redeem our time for the days are evil.As for UPND and VIVA,stop tempting GOD by your comments supporting this evil acts. There is a way that looks good to a man but its end is eternal death. What will it profit a man,to gain the whole world but loses eternal life? This is a thing that even a dog cant do.In short, dogs and pigs are better than all those who practice homosexuality and lesbianism.Wake up Zambia,Jesus is coming again.
