Govt Is Still Facing a Shortage Of Nurses Countrywide – Patrick Chikusu

Health deputy minister Patrick Chikusu says government through the ministry of health is still facing a shortage of nurses in various health institutions countrywide.

Dr. Chikusu says government is keen and committed to ensuring that the health sector is adequately financed.

He says government has also dedicated itself to supporting the creation of new%u2002government had also dedicated itself to infrastructure and the provision of training materials and equipment.

Dr. Chikusu adds that the training of both male and female nurses will continue, adding that myths and certain cultural beliefs would not deter the government from providing required manpower.

    @Team HH ar u so dull dat u neva read o listened 2 news dat wages n employment freez was reversed?Am sure da saw da same mistake of shortages of staffs.

      Cecil you are very ****** indeed. I classify you so because of your misinterpretation of employment freeze by your PF government. Be reminded that Employment and Wage freeze is irreversible as announced by Chikwanda who keeps national purse unlike you who is just commenting with empty brain.
      You are not even a worker yourself going by your irresponsible defence of PF.

    wandering abt gvt developmental plans! facing staff shortage, esp for nurses and yet proposing wage/employmnt freeze? if staff are few, why shd u gvt fail 2 wage them nicely so as to attract more. why shd gvt build more hospitals/clinics yet not employing beside shortage? mps think wisely as u debate issues like this.
