Mpepo: MoU’s In Zambia Don’t Yield Results, We are Tired as Contractors

The National Small and Medium Scale Contractors Association of Zambia says they are tired of witnessing the signing of Memorandum of Understandings which do not yield any fruits.
Association President Mutale Mpepo says many of these commercial banks that government signs MOUs with U- turn on the way.

Mr. Mpepo notes that the commercial banks are up to no good urging the government to follow up and ensure that banks abide but the MOUs that they sign.

He adds that the Road Development Agency to be action oriented on such matters instead of just talking.

Mr. Mpepo says government should realize that the commercials banks are a stabling block to government’s vision of giving jobs to the local contractors.
