AG Orders 2 Ministers to Pay Back ‘Misused’ Public Funds
Auditor General Anna Chifungula has demanded that two deputy ministers accused of misusing public funds should pay back.
Ms. Chifungula has expressed regret that parliamentarians who are supposed to represent the interest of their constituencies had to subject constituency development funds to an alleged fraudulent deal.
This was after buying second hand land cruisers at more than two hundred thousand kwacha.
The auditor general recently released a report on the utilization of constituency development funds in which alleged glaring irregularities were revealed.
Two deputy ministers in the ministry of agriculture and labor namely Rodgers Mwewa and Ronald Chitotela have been implicated in the deal.

Bemba rulings is always based on stealing,abuse of office,corruption practices & political deaths. remember Chilubas govt Ronald Penza,Paul Tembo Humphrey Mulemba & Mwanawasa himself died political deaths not forgetting Mazoka . In Sata govt Sakeni,Chikusu & others to come,all are dying politically.Sata and Chiluba are people with same character of poisoning intelligent govt officials.

In Zambia AG is Attorney General we do not yet have an accepted abbreviation for Auditor General.
Second, Auditor General has no power to ‘order’ govt to ‘order ministers to pay back..’ she can only recommend action in her reports…

Why weekend imprisonment for drivers ? Why not allow them to just pay for the offences ?
Imagine those scumbag’s stealing all that cash @ the expense of the Constituency & they’re simply just granted a chance to payback ?
Let the Law be applied to every Citizen fairly & squarely regardless of position or political affiliation.
Always known that a thief must go to Jail.. Atleast not until now.

Auditor General, you are quick at pointing the finger at deputy ministers leaving four other fingers pointing at yourself and you let the full cabinet ministers go scot free. are chitotela and mwewa the only people involved in such a deal and honestly speaking can a brandnew land cruiser cost k200,000? Even some of your people called auditors are also dirty, i found them asking for some jobs at a named institution here on the copperbelt whilst auditing the same institution, what does it mean? also your offices should be audited as well, maybe you are not clean as well. these same officers like selling people who assist your office with information to the same people being audited(whitsle blowers) now to those guys chitotela and mwewa,how did they manage to do such a dirty deal with full knowledge of the town clerk and d.c’s office?. Zambians try to do what FRANCE is doing by getting anything that these ministers aquired illegally. And this also reminds me of one transaction involving mutembo nchito, fred mmembe and DBZ, How far has it gone?
