Reprimand Sata,ECZ Urged

Alliance for Better Zambia president Father Frank Bwalya says the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) should demonstrate its autonomy by reprimanding President Michael Sata for breaching the Electoral law when he campaigned in Vubwi and Malambo before the dates for the by-elections is set.

Fr Bwalya says the ECZ should be seen to be autonomous by reprimanding the President Sata for breach of the electoral law.

Fr Bwalya has told Qfm News that this is because the President is not above the law.

The ABZ president has challenged the ECZ to come out clear and tell President Sata that he was wrong to campaign before the date for the by-elections has been set.

Fr. Bwalya says confidence in the country’s electoral process will be lost if the ECZ does not come out strong on the matter involving President Sata

Sata’s constituency is the whole Zambia. He is free to go any where any time without recourse. If he wants even to day he can go Chasefu constituency and meetings without any qualm. Pipo should bear in mind that Sata can go anywhere any time and talk to his pipo so stop the rot Frank!

U have facts wrong. Sata can yes go anywhere he is a free man. But he started introducing the people who will stand in constituencies where the MP’s have petitioned?

ECZ is supposed to issue dates when to start campaigning and when to stop. Sata started campaigning and introducing candidates when ECZ hasn’t given a green light to do so.

Just watching and hearing from people that know what the law of the land is saying regarding the happenings in this country. Here on earth you can be condemned or not, depending on who is who, but not with God.

Remember if Jesus was the one who is in that position in which you are;(I mean whichever position), was He going to behave the same way you are behaving? I thank God Jehovah Almighty for what is happening here on earth.

Sata is not a candidate so he is not campaigning. He is merely giving information in those constituencies to people about the Developmental Projects that must take place.
