HH Writes SATA ‘Stop Enganging Yourself In Traditional Affairs, Its a Shame’

Mr. Michael Chilufya Sata
Republican President
State House
Lusaka

Dear President Sata,

PRESIDENTIAL MISCONDUCT IN CHIEF’S AND TRADITIONAL AFFAIRS

The above captioned subject matter refers.

We again write regarding your administration’s misguided decision to ridicule chiefs and interfere in the internal traditional process of chiefdoms.

sata tells hhThere is a growing national chorus of voices expressing deep disappointment and even outrage at what this strange behavior communicates.

Consider the following events that have happened in the last two years of your Presidency:

• You publicly denounced the Litunga of the Lozi people by alleging that he stole land from other chiefs and gave it to the white people in exchange for an admiral’s uniform;
• You threatened that you would degazette Chief Nzamane and Chief Madzimawe for merely holding a view different from yours;
• Equally you threatened Chief Jumbe and told him that you were aware of the happenings in his private bedroom and more recently
• You degazetted Chief Mwamba of the Bemba people. More recently, after Chief Mwamba was chosen by the Bashilubemba to become the Chitimukulu, you stopped his ascension to the Chitimukulu throne by deploying Policemen at the Palace.
2/….
In short, your administration has embraced a policy that is bringing the presidency into public odium and disrepute. The presidency is an institution representing more than 13 million Zambians and is not just for Patriotic Front.

Our advice is that your administration should not interfere in traditional matters but let traditional structures deal with traditional matters. In the case of the Chitimukulu, we advise that let the will of Bashilubemba prevail without hindrance.

Yours sincerely,

Hakainde Hichilema
UPND PRESIDENT

    I must have missed the Chief Jumbe one. How! Sata surely! Did he mean literal bedroom or “bedroom” in inverted commas? This man is a problem.

    Micheal Sata; is a Prezdent of Zambia, and what he can see and touch is very different from what a chap’ a leader of a club can see. let Sata lead the Nation, and let Hicilema lead a club in his Region.

    you mean this man knows what is happening in chief jumbe’s bedroom. what is the meaning of this countrymen? what business of his to nosey around other people’s private lives. this is the most digusting leader of a nation i have ever come to know. not even hitler had such a warped brain. instead of fixing the economy he’s busy snoooping around people’s bedrooms! what motivates him to do that? could it be he gets the satisfaction by hearing others perform their conjugal duties in the decency of their bedrooms just because him suffers from EDF(erectile dysfunctional). this is the man who moves around with a pot of urine in his pocket, right? oh man, this is so low for a president. the guy pisses me off. why can’t the freaking nut just kick the bucket? a presidential by-election would gives us an opportunity to elect a sensible person. die *****, die!

    Zambia has many politicians,but is yet to have true leaders.Mandela was not a politician, but a leader.Mr Sata is a politician that is why many times he has said if you want development in any area,that area must have an mp from PF.That is not leadership,that is politics.we all voted for you to show leadership,see where you taking development,only same places.IF Am cheating produce your expenditure by provinces,except southern province,because it hosted the WTO. You will prove it by yourself that you are a big tribelist in sadc.viva chitimukulu.

    Gentlemen am Bemba but let us face reality.There is no tribe which hates itself.When Blezi or RB was president,most of the easterners lived in paradise.They also dominated cabinet positions.Is this not Tribalism?Similarly,President Sata is doing the same.Most of government top positions are dominated by bembas and you think other tribes are happy?In Zambia,we are all tribalists.we like experiments.We wanted change forgetting that change can be positive or negative.To my suprise,most of the people are complaining that the PF has failed them.Why?Iam extremely happy with what is happening.That is,High mealie meal prices,depreciation of the kwacha,dismisal of nurses,interferance of government into chiefs affairs,Creation of many deputies in a single cabinet ministry,creation of 10 provinces so that Mpika can benefit more,Promising selfish Lozis of the barotseland in a quest to win votes from western province,reducing bags of fertilizer per farmer,appointing some foolish and selfish members from the opposition as deputy ministers so as to have majority support in parliament,cheating youths of massive recruitment including call boys and depriving of southern province of its districts such as kafue and Itezhi tezhi on political grounds.When we went to polls, i remember very well that on the barot paper,there were about 10 to 12 political parties wishing to form government but we chose the “MIGHTY PF” and why should we start complaining today?Fellow Zambians,let us continue smiling because this is what we wanted.We are in the boat together with those who never voted for PF.
