People’s Party President Mike Mulongoti has warned certain unpopular decisions the ruling Patriotic Front government is making will backfire on them in 2016.
Mr Mulongoti says the PF should realize that 2016 is not far and that they will reap what they are sowing today through unpopular decisions.
Speaking to Qfm in an interview, Mr. Mulongoti says certain decisions of the Patriotic Front government such as the dismissal of nurses and the imposition of a wage freeze on the public service sector will cost the ruling party in the 2016 general elections.
Mr. Mulongoti notes that most decisions taken by the Patriotic Front have not been in the interest of the majority Zambian people, but to benefit certain interest groups.
He adds that 2016 has been a bad year for the civil servants and the nurses in particular, following the dismissal of those who went on strike and the job and wage freeze imposition.
Mr Mulongoti has since appealed to the dismissed nurses not to despair in view of their predicament.

Mr Mulongoti, you should be happy that PF is de-campaigning itself by making all the unpopular decisions. Why should it concern you? Your job is to point out these PF wrongs to the electorate so they vote for you. Do you understand what opposition political party means?

Let PF weave enough rope to strangulate themselves before 2016. Actually they are already in Comatose state following GBM resignation. Look at the panic in government.Miles Sampa and Jean Kapata rushing to Kasama to cool the hot air. Faka Pressure GBM!

Readers do you know why Africa has remained poor? It is because of POPULAR DECISIONS. REDUCE FUEL & BUNGA PRICES SO THAT YOU BECOME POPULAR. What happens when money runs out? You the same people who ate cheap nshima will be the first to throw stones. Personally when I become President I will ensure this fertalizer which is given to cadres (since 1964) comes to an end. To day I bought some from a professional cadre(was Unip, MMd and now PF) at a very low price. This is the way you want to live?
