Six Patriotic Front (PF) members in Petauke District in Eastern Province have been suspended for allegedly gross misconduct and obtaining money from the opposition to destabilize the part.
This is contained in a letter dated 26th December 2013 signed by District chairman Standford Mwanza obtained by QFM News.
Among the suspended are Godwin Sekelani Phiri, District PF Vice chairman who is also Petauke Explorers Radio Board Chairman, Grahem Mwanza District Youth Vice treasurer, Bonface Zulu Youth Treasurer, Anna Banda District Chair lady, Mabvuto Banda District Secretary, Ledger Tembo District Information and Publicity secretary.
Meanwhile the six suspended PF members have petitioned the District Chairman refuting the allegations.

Any way I have said before that them that have the mandate of unity this country, let them do so. It is not health for this country to have so much hatred and bitterness.
Church please let unite and pray. I have never seen or heard them that are leaders in these denominations that have called for mass prayers for peace to prevail in this country.
Any am now calling all peace loving Zambians to hold prayers for our leaders (political leadership)
