BUSINESS? Bishop Joe Imakando’s Church Bread Of Life Now Charging For Attending Overnight Prayers

BREAD Of LIFE chief bishop Joe Imakando is charging any individual wishing to attend the 2013 Cross over overnight prayers dubbed ‘Prophetic Cross Over’ at his church Blessing centre contrary to biblical teachings that the gospel should be spread freely, Tumfweko understands.
Adult entry fee has been pegged at K50 while children under the age of 15years will be paying K25.
ImakandoWells Banda a Lusaka resident says ‘Am just from listening to a radio advert; Bread of Life Church of Pastor Imakando will be having an overnight prayer meeting on the eve of 2014(tomorrow)..entry is K50 for adults and K25 for children. Where are we seriously heading that we seriously have to pay to be in the presence of the Lord?’
Another resident Tamara Happyface Kaunda says ‘Jesus didn’t even have a suitcase but look at how rich these men of God are becoming,I believe a man of God should lead a simple life.people even go into nkongole just to impress the man of God with offering.’
And a Kitwe resident who prefered not to be named gave an example of renowned Nigerian Prophet TB Joshua who does not charge a Ngwee for any prophetic sessions and prayer meetings he conducts but wondered how and why Bishop Imakando charges for one to receive the gospel.

I believe this is a concert and not Overnight prayers. Usually concerts involve inviting different artists and these artists even if there are gospel artists do not perform for free.

It is such kind of behaviour that makes many people in the west believe that churches are just businesses that are there to milk the poor souls. They are not for preaching the word of God!!!

My Brother my sister true churches are there do not just be seated at home and proclaim to say mupepela pa n’ganda if Jesus could go to the temple what of you . You need to fellowship as the BIBLE says. Please as the Bible say to the law and to the testmony Isaiah 20:8. Ekomukabamwena if they speak against the law then know that there is know light in them.

Ba Tumfweko and all you who have commented negatively, how dumb can you be and still breath? If you have problems organizing sensible news, just close down this your makwebo on the net.
    1. Music is not cheap and neither are musicians who produce it
    2. The gospel is not for free. The gospel costs money to be preached and spread. Only the last person who receives it thinks it free. In any case, the blood that Jesus shed down there on calvary was not cheap.
Money is required to finance all these.

Its a pity that everyone who has commented in the negative has just exposed their poverty, complaining over a 50 Kwacha. shame on you Tumfweko and shame on all your simpathisers!!

Vs 3 of Timothy 4 says that in the last times people will not endure sound teaching but will wander away from the truth into fables and will gather for themselves people who will tell them what they want to hear.Such times have come upon us,and people are doing all kinds of things, unbibilical things for that matter.Things like annointed water, paying for a service, you can almost gaurantee that there will not be a gospel preached, like most people are saying prophetic crossover.

I guess, consider this as offering. Renting a hall, hiring security costs money so someone must pay. Not that I support it. If you are preaching from the desert then it would be free.

WHEN YOU ORGANISE A MEETING OF THAT MAGNITUDE ON A DAY LIKE TODAY.YOU REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING.

1.A CUP OF TEA AND BREAD DURING BREAKS.

2.TISSUES, SOAP ETC FOR THE TOILETS.

3.COBRA ETC TO USE AFTER THE CONFERENCE TO CLEAN UP THE CHURCH.
4.INVITED GUESTS MUST BE GIVEN ACCOMADATION,FOOD,TRANSPORT AND A TOKEN OF APPRECIATION.

THESE THINGS CANNOT DROP FROM HEAVEN U AND ME MUST PAY FOR THEM.
HE IS ACTUALLY NOT CHARGING FOR THE GOSPEL BUT FOR THE THINGS I HAVE MENTIONED ABOVE.
