Catherine Phiri’s Opponent Pulls Out of WBC Title Fight
Catherine Phiri’s opponent in the world Boxing Council WBC Silver Bantamweight title, Nadia Hokmi, has pulled out of the fight.
Oriental Quarries Boxing Promotions Operations Director, Chris Malunga, says Hokmi has been prompted to pull out in order for her to concentrate on defending her WBF women’s bantamweight crown.
In a related development, Malunga says the boxing stable has agreed with WBC to move the date of the fights from January 25th to 15th March, 2014.Kindly note that all comments will be reviewed for appropriate content. Please show respect to those who will read your comments
