Dear editor,
kindly publicize this for me. I think it is not normal for Zamtel to stat ova deducting someone’s account without first informing them. The introduction of 90 minutes shows that it is cost k3, but how come they are getting k3.1364? Without any notification from their offices that they have revised their working conditions of service.
From Zamtel customer.

He is a Zamtel customer, he has nothing to do with Post news. Did he become zamtel customer through post? does he pay through post newspaper. Zamtel is still thinking Ancient they cant even used ICT technology to reach their customers. SHAME!!!!

When your ka plot is being repossesed and advertised in the Newspaper, will you say the notice was invalid? Because Newspaper is not ministry of lands from whom you bought the land? When the court rules against you in absentia and advertises in the newspaper will you say its also an invalid formal medium of conveying their position in relation to the constitution?

I agree, he is indeed a zamtel customer not a post newspaper one. Zamtel should have found another way of notifying their customers not through a newspaper only. There are instances where one (like me) have no confidence in the post newspaper and Fred Mmembe, and have stopped buying it, so how do you expect me or anyone in my situation for that matter to find out about the advert in question? Moreover am not obliged to read any newspaper. Infact papers these days just depress me, they say nothing most of the times but lies!!

That is the legal way of informing you!! It is the same reason why you see notices for liquor licenses, change of names, etc in the press. Newspaper are not a luxury but a legal necesity. Mwe bena zambia, plz improve your reading culture and reduce ignorance

They say a customer is always right. ZAMTEL depends on its customers to survive. The people can still survive without the telecommunication giant. Simply switch to better service providers, period. And it will no longer be a giant. The reason why goods and services are poor in this county, is because we do not demand for quality services. We have a mentality that the business enterprises are doing us a fervour. No,it should not be like that. Little wonder private foreign businesses do better than parastatals, since the latter share the same mentality with their clientele as they originate from the same setting. Ati,Fwa BOMA and fail to survive when the terrain becomes hostile.
When there are competitions running they send notices through our phones because they get big cuts from the SMS. Why not inform your customers the same way in case of increases? Somebody said its just one Ngwee. Yes, but the smaller the profit margin the money you make following the principle of mass. I imagine six million or more subscribers. To excite your mind, consider China or even Nigeria. You will be a boko haram in one day if the people buy into your programme at just one Ngwee.
Lastly, the media in Zed each has adopted a stance. The Past Paper is criminal oriented and sane minded Zadians no longer read it. We are on the net baba. Do a quick survey, you will see what I am talking about. Do you know that more people watch MUVI TV news than ZNBC?. Then advertise on several media.
The customer is right. Business people should scan the environment for them to reach, satisfy and retain their clientele. Jungle law…crucial for business survival. Neglect customers needs at your own peril. He is right and right people change our world.

Amend sentence number three of para two to read as under
“Yes, but the smaller the profit margin the more money you make following the principle of mass”.
The word ‘more’ was omitted.

@Mushakelvin…well said!! @ TypoError, not everyone can afford to buy a post newspaper every single day….You are giving an example of Ministry of lands advertising in the newspaper for repossessing land. Ministry of lands always notifies the concerned person/company about these issues before placing an advert…mind you there are always legal repercussions to such things.
