HH Warned and Cautioned as cadres Clash With Police

TEAR gas canisters were fired while three cadres were briefly detained this morning when UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema appeared at Woodlands Police Station for questioning.

Hichilema’s supporters were at Woodlands Station as early as 08:00hours to offer solidarity and complied with police over a barricade it had mounted to avoid the station to be over crowded.

Troubled started when Hichilema arrived and the cadres started pushing their way into the police station forcing police to fire tear gas and flogged some cadres who were tempting force their way into the police station along with HH.

In the process police mistakenly beat up Chikankata Member of Parliament Munji Habeenzu and a journalist Kalani Muchima from Prime Media TV.

Hichilema, who was summoned for questioning, was subsequently warned and cautioned for the offence of publication of false news with intent to cause fear and alarm to the public contrary to section 67 of Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia.

This is in connection with the statement that he issued during a press conference in which he stated that the PF had transported militias to Kasama. He further stated that the militias were organized and unleashed on Father Frank Bwalya when in fact not..

And a cadre caused a scare when she sprinkled some powder on Hichilema, who thought the police had fired another teargas carnister.

Police that were watching the UPND leader leave mocked, “Ayopa aona monga ni teargas kansi ni uunga(he is scared, he thought it was teargas).”

The cadres later temporally blocked the around about along Pick ‘n’ Pay bringing business around the area to a standstill.

Thank you police for soulting out these tonga”s who wants to bring problems in this country. we warned them but they didin”t want to lesten. These are the results. following and supporting a thief. me I can”t.Monday insterd of doing yur profitable business you are busy following someone who is doing wrong things.Shame on you guys.

If HH is summoned at any one time, I see no reason why the cadres should follow him at a Police Station. That is why there are all these confusions. If he is allowed to come with just a few people to escort him, I do not think that such can be happening. And by the way what is the meaning of cadres following HH to Police. He is supposed to be cautioned alone. The cadres are not there to help him answer questions from the police. The cadres are to blame for whatever happens to them. Viva police maintain order to these indiscipline cadres.

At the moment HH is the credible choice among other contenders. The worst is HEMCS for now. Ba Chile 1 (one) be informed that UPND has already planned a program for Zambia. Chile you must know that some of the effective plans that Levy used are from UPND, except that after Levy, RB failed to understand the nit grits of UPND, hence the decline in performance. Chile you must also know that HEMCS under PF lamentably failed to grasp any single effective plan either from MMD or UPND, instead he understood KK’s UNIP plans of reintroducing INDECO. What a miss of two golden opportunities by your PF, Chile!
