@Chile 1 : Your thinking capacity leaves much to be desired. What makes you think that anyone who complains about the wrongs the Government is doing is poor or doesn’t work hard? It is you who seem to be getting hand outs who cant complain when your hard earned money is abused. Ever heard of a saying “Easy Come Easy Go”? Moreover life is a vicious cirle…you ignore the suffering of the poor and one day u will be affected somehow. Your poor relatives will be making constant demands on you…the street keeps will eventually turn into criminals and rob your home….Hope what I have explained is not too hard for you to understand.

If ZESCO was serious they would have worked on the expansion of their kariba hydro power to cater for the SADC region. Why is South Africa importing power from the DRC instead of Zambia. ZESCO doesn’t have the capacity to do that all they think about is salary increments. learn to make money outside than enslaving your own people.

that’s a lie dip stick. I live in Rivonia in a three bedroomed unit and I use electricity extensively ( washing machine, drying machine, lawn mower, geyser and other common electric equipment. we are three staying at this unit. My electricity bill is always in the range of R300 rand to R350 rand whci is K150 equivalent per month.

FUNNY THING IS THAT I DO NOT NO ANYWHERE TO FIND LOWER ELECTRICITY TARIFFS THAN IN ZAMBIA.
MAYBE, THE SOUTHERN AFRICA POWER POOL(SAPP) SHOULD HARMONIZE TARIFFS BUT AGAIN THIS WOULD MEAN ZESCO HIKING BEYOND WHAT HAS BEEN GIVEN TO THEM BY ERB.
I DO NOT EXPECT PF GOVT TO REDUCE PRICES WHEN WORLD OVER PRICES ARE RISING.
LET PROPHECY BE FULFILLED.
