THE Zambia national soccer team has remained on 69th position on the FIFA/Coca-Cola world rankings.
In Africa, the Chipolopolo remain on 15th position.
The rankings released in Zurich yesterday saw Zambia accrue 519 points while leaders Spain have 1,507.
The Chipolopolo have been inactive after their third place finish at the Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) Senior Challenge Cup in Kenya.
Ivory Coast maintain the top position in Africa, Ghana are second, Algeria are third, fourth are Egypt, Cape Verde are fifth, sixth are Mali.
They are followed by African champions Nigeria (7), Tunisia (8), Cameroon (9) and South Africa (10).
Others making the top 20 are Burkina Faso (11), Guinea (12), Libya (13), Senegal (14), Zambia (15), Togo (16), Morocco (17), Sierra Leone (18), Democratic Republic of Congo (19) and Congo (20).
And Spain has maintained the first position while 2014 World Cup hosts Brazil are in 10th position.
Germany are second, Argentina are third, fourth are Columbia, Portugal are fifth, sixth Uruguay, Italy are seventh, eighth are Switzerland and ninth are Netherlands.
