Zambia defender Hichani Himoonde is set to join South African side Mamelodi Sundowns.
And the ZamFoot Crew understands that the Chipolopolo Boys Big 5 will be famed out on loan to Golden Arrows for the rest of the season.
“Yes, HH was with us at Moba Hotel and had a chat with the technical bench including Pitso Mosimane (Sundowns coach) and general manager Peter Ndhlovu,” a ZamFoot Crew Sundowns insider revealed after the centre back was spotted at the team hotel in Kitwe over the weekend.
Though he has established himself at international level were his partnership with Stoppila Sunzu has been rated compared to that of Elijah Litana and Harrison Chongo, the 27 year old has struggled for game time at TP Mazembe.
At Sundowns he will link up with goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene and midfielder Mukuka Mulenga while his immediate teammate at Golden Arrows will be Nkana striker Festus Mbewe who is on loan there from Kalampa.
Hichani has been to four African Cup of Nations – 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2013.
