National Restoration party (NAREP) president Elias Chipimo Junior has ruled out the possibility of his party being part to an opposition alliance anytime soon.

Mr Chipimo has told QFM News in an interview that his party has considered a number of things in reaching at the decision not to be part of the opposition alliance being advocated for.

He explains that the National Restoration party does not want to take the risk of failing to stand by its commitments with regards the alliance because certain issues are not ironed out.

Mr Chipimo says going into an alliance without clarifying issues such as values and objectives of such an alliance will be a total disaster and disappointing to the majority of the Zambian people.

Mr. Chipimo adds that sharing the same values and having a clear roadmap is critical to having a strong opposition alliance.

He says NAREP will instead focus on engaging with other stakeholders in moving the country to another level.

Sori to say but your words are not caming from a WISE ONE “as you depict yourself to be” rather they are from a WISE FOOL. You are one shallow minded chap, even the people you call abaume were once called non factor by fools like yourself. Wait for 2016 NAREP is not a one man Party.

Mr Chipimo, I thought you first you need to present and discuss those values and objectives before you even think of not being part of the alliance? In my thinking, the alliance can only be formed after you have discussed and agreed on those values. Why adopt a self defeatist stance?

If the alliance is formed you opposition parties should never conplain of the pf wanting to turn the country into a one party state because it’s you who have started it.

After PF’s failure to meet the needs of Zambian people, I now know and understand that it takes brains to rule and unite a country. As 2016 approaches, let us be mindful of what is taking place and vote wisely.

chipimo is the one who advocated for one opposition alliance and he should have sold this idea to all other opposition political parties, possibly have a meeting discuss his proposal and evaluate the input from other stake holders but it seems he is already defeated b4 even taking the first step, and fellow blogers with this kind of attitude do you think the opposition has any chance in 2016?

Will alliances ever be successful here in Zambia? chipimo is wise enough coz he knows it that it will never work under the sun that shines upon this country.

Alliances can work if we didn’t have the likes of Chipimo who are selfish and self-centered.
