The creams were not ordered by GRZ! Rather confiscated from shops in Kamwala. However, what spooks me is how these goods infiltrate at entry border points without being noticed! If an effective control was put at all border points we wouldn’t be having this talk!

If she wants to lighten her skin the govt shouldn’t be involved. UTH should explain what they were ordering these creams for. Skin lightening is a serious issue. It results in fatalities and also mutates your genes.
Whether its big business doesnt justify it. India’s huge skin lightenming industry arises out of the religious beliefs that the lighter skinned are priviledged as opposed to the darker people who are classified untouchables. Often these light skinned get the good jobs and the dark skin do the undesired jobs. so you can understand why people there want to masquerade in ‘different’ skin but that doesnt justify it.

She has never bleached her skin and when I walk around with her people would walk up to her and tell her never to destroy her skin. So I wonder why women do that. @MIG it is a sign of a complex and luck of education for sure. Ladies please stop this.
