Sata

President Micheal Sata has encouraged UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema to utilize his facebook page and other Government communication platforms to insulate himself from what he has described as reckless rumour mongering and speculative claims about the economy and the general growth of the country.

President Sata has advised Mr Hichilema to take advantage of his open-door policy and engage the Government with sobriety and maturity.

The Head of State’s remarks follow Mr. Hichilema’s claims that the PF Government was mismanaging the affairs of the state.

President Sata has urged the UPND leader to always seek positive and objective dialogue with the Government on various matters of national interest.

He says Zambians are fatigued with Mr Hichilema’s bitter, repetitive and empty rhetoric and as custodians of the people’s interests government will not be dragged to his lower levels of petty discourse.

President Sata says the PF government’s focus or preoccupation is to discuss policy, achievements and challenges so far and projections for the future growth of the country.

He says to this effect he has endeavoured to inform the nation on several issues ranging from infrastructure development, industrialisation, job creation, the economy, inflation, Commercial Bank’s lending rates and the country’s debt, rural development, achievements in the health sector as well as an update on the Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP).

This is contained in a statement issued by special assistant to the president for press and public relations George Chellah.

Always Bitter Sata in his replies to important issues.

Sata stop hiding the constitution and give the people what you promised.
The same thing you compained about before being elected is the same issues the people are questiong your decisions now.
Stop the silly replies and make your move.

Its you who is being seen as the man of inaction.
Stop chellah’s insultive statements unless you want to make them yourself live on government tv.
Hold a press conference instead of hiding behind facebook where you fail to reply to questions.

Just mention your name. Why are you hiding your name if you have a point?

The govt has mentioned that it has not yet recieved the draft so what is your issue?

If the govt does not want to include certain selfish clauses, so what? What is governing.

Forget50%+1 and the dreaded running mate.

Even me as an individual cannot support that. Its costly.

The 50%+1 and running mate are less costly than these clueless outbreak of bye-elections we are subjected to in Zambia.

HEMCS always describe HH as a bitter person, but when you see through their individual communication to each other, HEMCS sounds sulkier than HH. If any one is doubting, kindly refer to letters from HH to HEMCS and replies from HEMCS to HH.

I like the way the government has handled the all constitution issue. This is not something to take lightly, yu need sobber minds and sadists should not dictate the government. In the first place if UPND was in power today, they wouldnt torlaret 50±1. We should think beyond 2016 when adopting the constitution. Am pretty sure PF wont adopt such a useless clause together with that one for running mate
