Chisamba MP Moses Muteteka Jailed 5yrs With Hard Labour

Court convicts and sentence Chisamba Member of Parliament Moses Muteteka for 5 years imprisoniment following a protracted prosecution over his alleged stealing of a Chisamba District council truck.

Its not however clear whether the Higher court will entertain his appeal if he ever thought of doing filing an appeal against the sentence.

This means, the Country is yet again expected to hold another By-election in Chisamba to choose another Law maker.

A thief is a thief whether in Govt or outsides so no choice let him serve what he deserves, the prison.

The law in this country is very weak! This is just on paper that he has been jailed, tomorrow or even today he will appeal & he will be out. The case will drag on for the next five years while he will be enjoying his freedom outside.

After FTJ appointed him to work at state house, this man divorced his old first wife who kept him for many years when he was jobless. She used to sell roasted maize by the roadside.

Know your facts better Moses was not appointed by FTJ to work in state house, it was Levy who appointed him as his senior private secretary , later the boy opted to stand for Chisamba and he was appointed deputy minister in the lands ministry , where Mwanawasa fired him on corruption allegation . After Mwanawasa died Banda appointed him at community development as deputy .
