Alliance for Democracy and Development (ADD) president Charles Milupi has advised opposition political parties to be cautious in their quest to come together.
Mr. Milupi has told Qfm in an interview that in as much as it is good for the opposition to form an alliance, what is important is what they intend to do for the Zambian people.
He says Zambians are sick and tired of living in poverty when the country is rich.
Mr. Milupi notes that the only way the country can claim its rightful position of being a rich nation is by politicians bringing their common policies together.
Mr. Milupi says once the opposition political parties harmonize their policies, this will bind them together for a much longer period than merely coming together in a casual way as the case is at the moment.
He states that many opposition alliances have failed in the past because they were not planned well.
He adds that an opposition alliance formed in a casual way is bound to collapse and maybe a waste of time.
Mr. Milupi is however confident that Zambians will come together ahead of the 2016 general election to liberate themselves from what they are going through under the Patriotic Front government.

Mr Guess you are a PF cadre. Previously you PF cadres were hinting that Milupi has less than 500 members and supporters throughout the country. But today you say more than a 1000 of his supporters have resigned. How can 1000 resign from 500 members? Anyway, that is how cheap PF’s propaganda is.

Honestly Milupi, How do we liberate ourselves from good roads, principled leadership, accountable leadership, proven track record, close-by leadership and all that MCS is showing to follow all these little and narrow-minded bafoons whose desire is only to pull down others?
Can any opposition leader show the Zambians what alternatives they have for Zambia?

Sad as it may be, unfortunately our opposition political parties also do not have workable alternatives to the current poor governance in the country. They do not realise that Sata is not necessarily the cause of our national problems, but only one of the symptoms! This country lacks a proper structures of governance. It lacks proper principles and systems of good governance. It is difficult for citizens of this country to govern themselves under these defective factors of governance. Under these appalling arrangements, it would only take an expatriate president and ministers or, at best, angels to properly, faily and equitably lead this country! This country needs a new body, soul and spirit. It needs a complete overhaul. This is the way to go: solving the cause, rather than the symptoms! We need good laws and good strucures, thend good men will follow. We can only avoid this natural trinity at our own peril!

Charles Milupi, HH, Nawakwi, Chipimo and Father Bwalya should form an alliance. This way dislocating the PF Government will be as easy as drinking a cup of water!!

Magande: Help Zambians Understand Alliance Objectives
The opposition National Movement for Progress (NMP) has observed that forming an opposition alliance with the sole purpose of removing the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) from government is not a good reason enough for such an alliance.
NMP president Ng’andu Magande says this is why he is interested to know what the political parties that have formed the alliance will do after they remove the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) from government.
…
…
I just hope you do agree with Mr. Magande?

Yes I agree and the common denominator in all the opposition political parties is that the PF Government has failed to listen to the majority of the Zambian people and they must go and the easiest way to remove them is by forming an alliance. Ofcourse if they form an alliance just coz they want to rule without a proper agenda as alluded to above, I would not support that!
