Alliance for Better Zambia (ABZ) president Father Frank Bwalya has noted with concern that some sections of media have abandoned media ethics in their reporting on certain issues.
Father Bwalya has told Qfm News in an interview that certain stories being published in some sections of the media leave much to be desired.
Father Bwalya who is also a journalist by profession says it is only right for journalists and media houses to promote objectivity and accuracy in their reporting.
He notes that the current crop of journalists should aim at informing the public with facts and not their own words or opinions.
Fr Bwalya has since advised journalists to keep their integrity by being factual and objective in their reporting.

Zambians na cizungu, what is in English language kansi? You are always talking about how tumfweko journalist write. so what? the fact is you understand what they write and that is it. In other countries, people are proud of their languages. It is good that GRZ has brought back vernacular in schools so that my children can learn.

The News about former civil servant and their money has totally been twisted by ZNBC News. We the former Civil servants have written demanding our money go through our long time Lawyer channel Nelly Mutti PERIOD. But the latest News has featured the man who has diverted our money and nothing about the demonstration today against this individual who we have even reported to the police.
We fought this kind of reporting favoring those “being used” by powerful people in authority.ZNBC we are your brothers and sisters suffering, Pliz allow us to be heard.
