Dante Demands PF Apology

Political Analyst, Dante Saunders, says the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) should now apologize to the people of Zambia for deceiving them with the ninety-day-campaign strategy.

This follows remarks attributed to Sports Minister, Chishimba Kambwili that the PF party’s 90 days slogan was a mere campaign theme.

Mr. Saunders says the PF should be ashamed for cheating the Zambian people just to get into office.

Mr. Saunders says such remarks by a senior PF official shows that the PF cannot be trusted with another five year term, stating that they will have a tough time in 2016 to convince the people to vote for them.

What kind of reasoning is that?So if he is broke he should not comment on the topical political issues? In fact if it is true that he is broke then to me these are the pipo we should entrust power to.Because we have seen how others fall all over themselves when they are broke just to get a job or for business.

But is it not true that they need to apologize for getting into power by false pretenses? The last time I checked this was a crime. Infact what PF did is not only a crime by false pretense, but it is also tantamount to corruption; which is also a crime and they need to be answerable for this. The least they can do is apologize. But no, this party is full of itself to do that. They have even failed to go back to the people who voted for them (including me) in numbers to say “Thank you..”. Instead the President has decided to hide in facebook where he cannot be asked questions. Come 2016 reality will hit his blind followers in their little adolescent faces!!

There is no need to apologise for the campaign that is long gone. Zambians let us concentrate on real issues that are affecting our country at the moment. We are sick and tired of hearing opposition parties criticise the PF government for all the programs in place. Pleaee leave PF to do what it can and develop this country. It is pointless to start think about 2016 when you should be thinking about your future. These lies and criticism are irritating every intellectual of our beloved mother Zambia.

@Political giant “Criticisms are irritating every intellectual of our beloved mother Zambia?”….that is debatable I think!!! Look what happens in the past determines the future if it is not dealt with. Have you ever heard of the saying “History repeats itself…”. You are saying we should stop thinking about 2016 and start thinking about our future? But I thought 2016 is in the future? I am lost.

You can promise and not fulfill but its not good to vow. The PF never vowed to do things in 90 days but the only promise. Whether they apologized or not it won’t put food on the table. But the question is they working or not.

PF cadres swear they will kill opposition to PF policies.

PF can’t apoligise after swearing on a bible they were telling the truth about 90 day constitution.

I just bought the latest book called the RISE AND FALL OF LEADERS written by a zambian Dr. Bless Mwansa Kapika, but i was told, residing in Belgium. His book reflects exactly what countries like Zambia are experiencing. Whereby politicians promise mountains. But still keep on believing in their own lies. As a Namibian, I would like to recommend this book also to be read by Zambians

Mr Saundershi, the only time a politician tells the truth is when he calls another a LIAR.

If Monze Swallows say they will beat Soweto Big Stars 7-0 and end up winning 1-0, do you ask for an apology?
Have you ever asked Cologate for an apology for having yellowish teeth despite brushing teeth for 50 years?
Move on, it is called marketing.

There are some things which should not be taken casually PLEASE. How can you sit there and say Politics is just like marketing? Surely people are dying of hunger and all you can say is that “PF where marketing themselves and it is your fault that you voted for them…so deal with it!”? What kind of attitude is this? I am beginning to wonder – do some of you people get hand outs from the Government? This kind of thinking is so nauseating to say the least.

@ Samba, In Management, “Maslov Hierach of Needs” states that that food is at the top. Believe me my dear when you touch the stomach, you are headed for down fall..It does not matter how much you want to convince me, I will not listen until my stomach is full….In fact I will not even be aware of the danger around me up and until my stomach is full….strange as it may seem, but that is the nature of a human being…. Believe me or not but I voted for PF…I started condemning them when they increased the prices of mealie meal, and then fuel, and then electricity, and then water, and then talk time, and then harrassments all over, and then…the list is endless…
