SATA-SUNZUTo His Excellency Michael Chilufya Sata
Republican President – Zambia.
State House Lusaka.

On behave of millions of Zambian Soccer Fans Home and abroad, we are asking for a National Mourning for our beloved Soccer Star DENNIS LOTA. We can not continue mourning politicians who have left a legacy of plundering our economy.

Sir, remember that goal he scored against Egypt in 1996, that was a CRACKING GOAL. Please, we are asking for only todays to reflect on his many other goals and dribbles….

But he made a name in SA and not Zambia. Let SA give him. Our politicians are hardworking and that is why they steal (this fools are too much. I hope Muteteka- Chisamba MP’s loses Appeal and goes in for five years but in Zambia justice is only for the big robbers ).

I think we should give credit due to Government. Recently Late Charles Muyamwa, a non politician, was accorded a period of national mourning. I think he came for music and arts.

he was too young for a State Funeral. 40 is not a good number to die. those who have been accorded state funerals are fossils in their later afternoons of their Lives.

National Mourning; why a request? Why begging for (something)what you deserve? What is wrong with our minds; fellow Zambianz? Yesterday it was somebody asking for UMUPATILI’z state funaral; why? If you desarve it, there iz no need to beggy for it. May the former footballer Rest in Peace.

Sorry to hear the demise of Dennis Lota MHSRIP,but Zambians lets be real. You are asking a man who did not see it fit to accord Late Cardinal Mazombwe National mourning, you expect him to give a footballer. Has our Country become a Country of National mourning.

we are tired of national mournings, people we can be a nation of mourners. the last two week have seen to mourning.

Lot was a good player and that can not be established by a national mourning

National mournings mean nothing other than being political while real mourning remains with family and close associates! Declare as many as you wish relatives will/may appreciate while the greater unaffected number pass time chilling at the many watering holes! Any death is a sad event and these national mournings that are at the discretion of the president are just divisive for it’s according to who himself wants to mourn and thinks the rest of the country is with him! Let’s be real!
