‘Poor Sim Registration Services By ZICTA And Network Providers’

Dear Editor

Much as we welcome the sim registration for security purposes we on the other hand condemn the handling of whole thing by ZICTA , for instance the deadline was on 31st January 2014 and two days later some cards were blocked without even waiting for those who registered on the very last day to be captured by the systems of network providers . Surprising ,some of us did register our card more than two times but up to now their systems are yet to capture them and we have our cards blocked . So please ZICTA and NETWORK providers revisit your decision and avoid inconveniencing us.

Thank you.

Customer.

I worked as a data capture operator. I tend to wonder how much work is involved in entering all this information on the computers. How much time in man hours this has taken and the cost of this whole exercise. I think its just the some as carrying out a national voter registration exercise

TIA – everything moves in slow motion. All those who have proof of registration and have been blocked get organized and sue these providers. then they will wake up. This was supposed to be a straight forward exercise but has been messed up by the providers and a toothless ZICTA
