Dear Readers: I think I Have Been Molested By A Doctor

Dear readers,

For two days now,I’ve been feeling angry and abused, so I’m sharing  my experience with your readers for their opinions.

Two days ago I went to a  hospital close to my house to check for breast lumps. It was my first time and I was very uncomfortable when the doctor started touching my breasts. I decided to close my eyes and put my mind on other things.

But then, when I felt he was taking longer time than I anticipated, I opened my eyes only to discover he had an erection! All the while he’s been fondling my breasts! I felt so embarrassed. He didn’t say a word as I dressed up and left his office.

I still feel angry and raped. That’s sexual molestation, right? Shouldn’t I have confronted him right there and then?

From a female reader

I agree with the author that some ( not ALL) Doctors have some weakness when it comes to checking of breast cancer , this is against their ethics.
I wanted to beat one doctor/ male clinic officer when he started behaving like an he-goat.

The first mistake you made was to seek advice from this platform.. I guess you already know its wrong? From your statement yes I feel you were abused for you said you closed your eyes coz you never wanted to think about what was happening. Yes Some of these guys work unprofessionally. They do abuse clients. A certain Lady also complained of being abused by Gychonologist at Kitwe Central hospital. She said this guy inserted his fore finger in her genitals trying to feel something and he took long and the he called his friend to do the same. May be go and talk to the people in charge at the facility. I’m sorry for you.

there is a very clear difference between palpating your breasts and fondling. you closed your eyes. you felt uncomfortable, why did you not ask for a female cheparone to be there? why are you people so daft? you are in a room with a man, doesn’t matter if a dr or not, and he is touching your breasts checking for lumps. you need a female cheparone in there with you. you obviously are a fool and daft enough. you either enjoyed the fondling or you are just too dull

Madam, go and molest him back!

Ok Dr’s beware, women will be after your practicing licences soon. Always have a female relative and an assistant in the room. Next you’ll have to do dna tests dr’s.

In the light of the number of lesbians around, lady Dr lesbians also face sexaul harrassment charges too.

Didn’t Oprah show you how to do the test at home? Go for a mamogram if in doubt, at least the x-ray machine won’t fondle you. Maybe the modern x-ray machines have developed awareness and will have an erect knob too.

No, you should do nothing. He was wrong to take longer than necessary. It is natural for a man to develop an erection under that circumstance do not feel abused. Just reading your story gives men an erection. It is how we are made. What action we take after the erection is what matters. If the man does nothing further, it should end there.

was the doc dressed and wearing a clinical coat? if yes, how then did you notice he had an erection? did you see it or feel it? did u go there for breast lamp exam or erection exam? what exactly was your motive? closing your eyes and gesturing with eyeball movements, I think you were also trying to entice the poor man, you had an agenda and got disappointed and now spitting it out!

From as early early as age 10, I have schooled young girls to refuse unwanted ‘touches’ of men, refuse or bolt. If it all fails, SCREAM! Now this strampet of a grown woman was tought to CLOSE HER EYES! This is BULLSIHT! She she more experienced in noticing ERECTIONS.

This makes the third or fourth day after your allerged story, and its one sided. Do u jst wake up and say am going for breast cancer check up? U close yr eyes, open them and see an erection. Apparently u know how long it takes to do the check up, saying he took too long, did he ever came to your work place and told u how fast to work? like the others have said get a life.

    But you guys are crazy…ma!!

Anyway my sister all I can tell you is that you have no case here. It is your word against the doctors. First and foremost why did you close your eyes. That is a sign of enjoyment. Secondly how did you notice that he had an erection? Again that is a sign that you were interested in what he was doing. You should have stopped him right there and then and called for help if you thought he was crossing the line. If you did not want to embarrass him, then you should just let it go because the man didn’t have sex with you…
