SATA: Most PF MPs Are Useless ‘I Wont even look at their application papers in 2016′

PRESIDENT Michael Sata says most PF members of parliament are useless and he will not even look at their application papers in 2016.
Speaking in Katuba on Saturday before he addressed a rally at Muwanjuni Primary School grounds, President Sata said the PF would carefully scrutinise the candidates in 2016 to avoid adopting members of parliament who will turn out to be irrelevant.
“Most of you are useless and in 2016, I will not even look at your application papers,” President Sata told members of parliament that had lined up to introduce themselves to the audience in Katuba.
Among the members of parliament that had lined up were home affairs deputy minister Stephen Kampyongo, Eastern Province minister Malozo Sichone, deputy minister in the Office of the Vice-President Davies Mwango, defence deputy minister Colonel Joseph Lungu, Lupososhi member of parliament Chungu Bwalya, Kabwe Central member of parliament James Kapyanga, Chimbamilonga member of parliament Hastings Chansa and Pambashe member of parliament Ronald Chitotela.
During his introductory remarks, Chitotela told the crowd that his constituency had witnessed a number of development projects owing to him being a member of the PF.
However, President Sata interjected Chitotela and told him that he does not visit his constituency.
Before President Sata’s arrival at the venue of the rally, PF cadres from Intercity Bus Station, led by Innocent Kalimashi, roughed up a fellow cadre only identified as Peter.
Kalimashi’s group accused Peter of being behind the use of machetes to attack fellow cadres.
It had to take Judge Ngoma’s intervention for Peter to be whisked away from the uncompromising cadres, who wanted to beat him up in full view of senior party members, who included ministers.
When President Sata arrived, Ngoma was heard briefing the head of state that cadres who allegedly belonged to former defence minister Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba’s camp harassed a fellow PF member and accused him of being in Wynter Kabimba’s camp.
In response, President Sata described the action as stupid.
