Unwanted Pregnancy: TB Joshua Disagrees With Pastor Chris
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome said a baby that is a product of rape can be aborted (If you missed it, read here) but pastor T.B Joshua doesn’t agree with him. He says committing an abortion when raped is a double sin. Which of these pastors do you agree with?

T.B.Joshua is 100% right.Abortion is a sin no matter the circumstance it is committed under.
Pastor Christ used his personal opinion.Now it is wrong to mix personal opinion in comflict with the word of God.
No wonder Jesus said many will come in his name and use It for their personal gain.

Ok, whose affiliated to who, TB Joshua to Tumfweko, or Tumfweko to TB Joshua? Tumfweko carries stories about this man nearly everyday or does he preach Tumfweko in his sermons?

Interesting to read some of these responses,others defending Pastor Chris even when he is clearly wrong,and unbiblical,TB also is not got it completely right,where he is right is abortion is a sin,murder to b precise.But one raped has not sinned but sinned against by the rapist,big difference there.Pastor Chris seems to be twisting other passages of scripture too,and am not surprised he could have said that.So TB seems at this point to reflect biblical truth,though he has many issues which are not encourageable.

The question: “Can a Baby, A Product Of Rape Be Aborted?” was, I think, answered correctly by Pastor Chris.
On the other hand, if the question is: “Should a Baby, A Product Of Rape Be Aborted?” Then the answer becomes complicated and dogmatic.
In the first instance; “CAN…?” implies “POSIBILITY”. Which, by any measure, it is very possible to abort any fetus—conceived through rape or otherwise—the means to achieve have been around since ancient times.
However, if we ask “SHOULD…?” then the question becomes a “MORALITY” question. And by our Christian morals, it is indeed considered a “SIN” to abort a fetus. Nonetheless, NOT everyone agrees that this principle (No abortion, period!) applies in all circumstances, i.e., rape, incest, to save the life of the woman in case of medical complications, etc. This issue is still hotly debated and a point of varying opinions in the Christian world. Just as we are witnessing here between these two clergymen.

when you abort it does not mean you are free from pregnancy, it only makes you the mother of a dead child. it is wrong to have an abortion whether raped or not.

@Yambayamba…The question here is “Can a baby, a product of rape be aborted?”. And you are saying Pastor Chris is right because the question started with the word “Can” (Meaning it is a possibility), but had it said “Should” (Meaning it is a morale issue), then he is wrong. My brother I beg to differ with you. Sin is sin and abortion is sin whether it is a question of possibility (Can)or morality (should).
As for @Khumar…What TB Joshua meant when he said God uses foolish things to express himself is that the things of God look foolish to people who use their canal minds. For example, the so called intellectuals will use the wisdom of this world to say a baby conceived because of rape should be aborted and they will give reasons for that. But God will say “No” to that foolish as it may look.
