FAZ takes Racism Case To FIFA

The Football Association of Zambia wishes to express its disappointment and dismay regarding the unfortunate incident where racist remarks were uttered by a member of the Venezuela Under 17 Girls towards their Zambian counterparts during the Venezuela/Zambia group match on Tuesday.

This happened when the Zambia National Soccer Team under seventeen player and captain, Martha Tembo was allegedly racially abused by the captain of Venezuela Lourdes Morena during the game.

The Association has since reported this unfortunate incidence to FIFA through FAZ Vice President, Boniface Mwamelo and Executive Member Lenny Nkhuwa.

The FIFA disciplinary committee has since responded and a hearing will be held soon.

The Zambian Vice-Presidency Crisis: Fellow Zambians we should first get rid of racists like Guy Scott who are busy calling black Zambian Monkeys. How can such a racist call himself a Zambian leader. Its a shame. GOD BLESS ZAMBIA.

Yes we black & btiful. no one has a rite to physically abuse us. Faz thanx 4 taking the matter up. Its time we also start beating these who sees themselves as been white in all competitions.

Zambian Captain: Coach ! Coach ! Namumfwa teh?
Zambian Coach: Ninshi mwaiche?
Zambian Captain: Alentuka ati nabe ama tako elo naliba humble!
Zambian Coach: That’s a racist remark mwaiche, we shall go to FIFA!

Am just thinking it was a question of communication break down!

Bornface Mwamelo is a well informed guy.
He can’t fail to make out what is/ is not a recist remark.
Let’s wait and c what comes out from FIFA.
