BLACK MAGIC? Mansa Man Overturns After Finding Snake In Vehicle, Sustains Serious Injuries
A snake in a car caused a man to lose control of the vehicle he was driving, which overturned, resulting in him sustaining injuries.
Geoffrey Chanda, 43, of Musonda Technical School in Mansa was driving at about 02:00 hours on Thursday when he saw the snake coiled around the steering wheel. In fright , he drove past a junction and the car overturned.
Luapula Province police commissioner Malcolm Mulenga confirmed the accident and that it happened at the Mwense turnoff at an area called Kapalala.
Mr Mulenga said Mr Chanda was driving a Toyota Spacio which ended with a depressed roof and shattered windscreen.
He said the snake was killed by members of the public who rushed to the accident scene.
