Nkana Get Tunisian Opponents in CAF Cup

Nkana have been pitted against Tunisian club CA Bizertin in the CAF Confederation Cup in what appear to be a tough draw.

The Kitwe giant who were on Sunday eliminated from the CAF Champions League by Egyptian giants ZAMALEK who humiliated them via 5 nil scoreline were drawn against Tunisian during draws conducted at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt this morning.

Nkana will have to negotiate passed the Tunisians to secure a place in the group stage of the CAF second tier competition.

CA Bizertin eliminated Nigerian side Warri Wolves from the CAF competition via a 2-1 aggregate scoreline, after drawing nil all in the first leg in Nigeria.

Nkana will be at home in the first leg.

The first leg games of the CAF Confederation Cup will be played between 18th and 20th April 2014, with the second leg being played on the weekend of 25th and 27th April.

    pipo have said time and again that our clubs can compete effectvly if given chance to choose best players in our country. if Nkana and ZESCO were given chance to choose players from other clubs it wud hav been a different story.

    This club is even much tougher than Zamalek, Nkana won’t survive. Let’s just forget about CAF competition as well.

    Ycan’t NKANA do it if others are doing it?let us just commercialize our futball yes agree that the later team is stronger than Zamalek bcoz in Egypt the league is not active
