Over 20 PF Women Suspended
The suspension of the women from their positions as chairladies is with immediate effect.Over 20 Patriotic Front (PF) women in Eastern Province who travelled to Lusaka to denounce provincial chairperson Lameck Mangani have been suspended from the ruling party pending expulsion.
According to the resolutions presented to Acting Republican President Alexander Chikwanda in Chipata yesterday, signed by PF district chairpersons and read by Katete District chairperson Joseph Makukula, the PF women currently in Lusaka should not be allowed to meet President Michael Sata.
The chairpersons felt that the women were being funded by the opposition MMD to cause internal wrangle in the ruling party.
“The purported trip to Lusaka by these women was not communicated to their respective district officials particularly their chairpersons.
“What came out so strongly was that all the district officials present felt that the district chairladies are being funded by the MMD and internal enemies within the party who are against the good leadership of the provincial chairperson Lameck Mangani and his team,” the chairpersons said in their resoulutions.
They stated that Mr Mangani was appointed by the party and the Republican President and he constituted a provincial team which should continue to lead until 2016 general elections.
And Mr Chikwanda called for unity of purpose among the party members.
He said President Sata was a visionary leader who also loved everybody in the party.

the so-called upnd and akainde icilema cannot rule zambia because they will take zambia back to the days of north-western rhodesia and north-eastern rhodesia or simply barotse land. he eats and breathes his tribe, hence, he is not appealing to people of other tribes. we know him and we will never vote for him. he can’t hide his true colours

imwe ba PF lets get real serious with how we are running our affairs or else we will live to regret ka! lets just reflect back in 1990 and try to analyse what was happening to the then president Kaunda. people on the ground had the true picture of what was prevailing but those in leadership pretended that all was well untill came the election time when the reality dawned on them. so lets not step on people who do the voting and who have the potential to influence others! just free information

You cant fight a fingure that you know its the one feeding you and on the other hand expects to have it easy for the other meals. Mr Mangani was appointed by HE MCS and any attempt to put him as under is as good as under mining the powers of the appointing authority. Those who are fighting Mr. Mangani will not have it easy. My advice is, swallow you pride and get back to him, he is so honorable that he cant fail to accommodate you no matter what, unless you go to him with a hidden motive or agenda.
