Jacob Zuma To Marry 29-year-old Namibian Beauty Queen
South African President Jacob Zuma aged 71 has found love in Namibia and wedding bells are expected before the end of the year.
This was confirmed yesterday by his spokesperson, Mac Maharaj, who said that Zuma had been very impressed with the beauty of Namibian women during his State visit in November last year.
Namibian Sun first heard the news of Zuma’s Namibian romantic entanglement from a Namibian government source and then called Maharaj, who was very open about it.
“I can confirm that Zuma’s relatives are in an advanced stage of negotiations with the family of a young lady from the Omaheke Region. She is 29 years old and is the epitome of Namibian beauty. President Zuma is very excited about the upcoming nuptials,” said Maharaj.
Asked which tribe the woman is from Maharaj answered: “She is Ovaherero and the negotiations around the bride price are at a very sensitive stage. She is a very educated woman and the family wants a significant number of cattle.”
Zuma and the young lady apparently met in Windhoek after an official engagement during his two-day stay in Namibia last year.
Maharaj said all the arrangements for the wedding, which will be Zuma’s seventh, are expected to be concluded within the next few months.
The wedding ceremony will be held at the controversial Nkandla homestead in Zuma’s home province of KwaZulu-Natal at the end of November.
Nkandla – or at least the South African government spending N$246 million to upgrade it – has been at the heart of calls recently for Zuma to resign.
However, he has been defiant, saying that he did nothing wrong and was not the one who okayed the lavish upgrade, which included a chicken run, visitors’ centre, cattle kraal, swimming pool and amphitheatre, which Zuma has been asked by South Africa’s Public Protector to pay for.
He has refused to pay a cent, saying that government officials are to blame. Zuma’s Namibian bride will be moving to Nkandla, joining four of Zuma’s wives who live there, Maharaj told Namibian Sun yesterday. “We are eager to welcome Zuma’s new Namibian wife to South Africa and we believe that she will be happy here.
“Her arrival will not mean any improvements or further upgrades to the homestead. There is more than enough space for her family, if and when they come visit her in the future,” Maharaj added – Namibian Sun.

You do not need to have many wives in order to prove that you are strong. Somebody said ”To be a male is a matter of birth but to be a man is a matter of choice.” I believe women should not be treated like sex objects. They should be treated with love and respect. Failure to be content with one woman has led weak-minded men into polygamous marriages. There are so many evil things which are happening in polygamous marriages. For instance, a man with ten wives will have challenges in meeting their sexual needs. Each wife may, on average, have sex with the husband once every ten days. This may force the wives to have boyfriends in order to fully satisfy their sexual needs. This will pose a big challenge to the fight against HIV/AIDS. One man in Chisamba had 55 wives. His elderly sons were having affairs with their step mothers. Can you still be proud of this,Denkete? To me, this is typical of animal kingdom. We should not also rule out the possibility of jealous among the wives in a polygamous marriage. The jealous can be so serious that the lives of children get affected. Some years ago, one of the wives of Zuma committed suicide. Though I not know the reasons for committing suicide, I strongly believe it had to do with Zuma’s infidelity. I believe that marital love should be between two people-man and woman. It is impossible to love ten wives with the same measure of love. Suppose it was your wife who wanted to marry other men besides you Denkete, would you accept? I urge women to value themselves. Women must not allow men to treat them like objects of entertainment. Infact, men who support polygamy have an inferiority complex. God knows better than we do. God created Eve for Adam. He knew that Eve was enough for Adam. Otherwise, he would have created Eve, Jane, Precious,Natasha etc for Adam. Denkete, your wife is enough to satisfy your sexual needs. Polygamy will just destroy your life. If you are already in polygamous marriage, you should reflect on your lifestyle.

Zuma has an insatiable appetite for ladies. His sexual appetite is bringing shame to the office of the President. He is better off being a headman or a chief in one of the villages in South Africa. I am actually beginning to question the moral values of South Africans. Why should they keep a sex maniac in that respectable office? Is South Africa short of men of integrity who can lead the country better than Zuma? I believe Zuma should not have been elected President in the first place. His political career has been full of sexual and financial scandals. Despite all these scandals, they went ahead to elect Zuma as President. The sad thing is that Zuma’s seven wives will be maintained by the taxpayer. It was recently reported in the media that the current SA president’s home budget is about five times higher than the previous President(Thabo Mbeki). Public resources are being wasted on Zuma’s many wives and concubines. Millions of South Africans are living in abject poverty and yet Zuma is wasting million of dollars on useless things. This is shameful.

You see people when you start drinking stuff to make your ‘jones’ last longer or become stronger whichever comes first…these are the results. In Zululand, they have this root such that if you took it, your ‘jones’ will always be up hence lots of rape cases in South Africa., circumcised or not. You have read and heard of many rape cases in South Africa where a father or uncle has been raping their vulnerable daughters and nieces almost at will. I lived in Kwamashu, Durban before and this is very true. AIDS will never stop spreading when you have such incongruent leaders as Zuma. A very bad role model indeed. Africa and indeed the world will never learn anything positive from this man. I feel sad. But I beg to question the intergrity of these women involved…why fall for a very lousy, over the hill sex pet, are there not younger guys out there. Indeed money is a root of all evil the Bible says….and by the way thanks to Chisenga for your comment. Be proud of how God created you in the first place. I rest my case.
