Muvi TV owner Steven Nyirenda has signed a deal with opposition UPND Tribalist leader Hakainde Hichilema to aggressively decampaign PF ahead of the 2016 polls.
A Muvi TV insider has told Tumfweko that HH this week met Nyirenda at a named hide out to seal a K 1 Million sponsorship deal.
In this deal, Muvi TV is expected to give positive coverage to UPND while watering down anything seen to be a government stride.
” Of late, you have seen them run Sata’s clips on his promises on the constitution. This is merely a directive from HH who has pledged to splash serious cash on Nyirenda and you know Nyirenda is a businessman who would kill for money,” said the source.
Muvi TV reporters are now on rampage bringing out only negatives about PF.

is HH an Accountant or economist???.He has an Economist degree and that does not make him an accountant. Having worked for an accounting firm such as KPMG does not automatically make him an accountant.
This guy is a failed economist period!!!
He should get a job in a bank.

Poor you. So myopic that you think success is about working in a bank. Who even told you economists are trained to work in banks?

I saw this from the beginning. This is the problem with private sectors they can do anything for money. Now they are disseminating wrong information for money a clear indication that HH is upto no good for Zambian people. Regards

If people can insult others the way I read here, what would happen if such people were in power. No wonder God has rejected this. Insults will never win any votes, only level headedness can. Any learnt person will know that what the PF has embarked on will in the long run pay off. No magic can turn the country around in 2 years. We need this infrastructure not insults to build Zambia.

I have never employed a person without experience on the job, just like I would never vote for any untested candidate. People should earn positions and not just buy them with cash.

There is nothing wrong for MUVI TV to broadcast what some the head of state had promised. As much as he is my president he needs to be accountable to what he promised people during run up to elections. People voted for him because of his promises to the peole

If HH has paid Muvi TV from his pocket to televise the truth and PF lies, then that is very good of HH. He is working for the masses and it is this kind of leader we are looking for. Viva UPND for truth and reality.

this is very disappointing from tumfweko. it is highly malicious and totally unproffessional. you cant start by writing a story as ‘Muvi TV owner Steven Nyirenda has signed a deal with opposition UPND ‘TRIBALIST’ leader Hakainde Hichilema ‘.it already shows a bias on HH as a tribalist lets be proffessional. LET US CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF ZAMBIA BY WRITING THINGS ARE FACTUAL AND THOSE THAT ENABLE PEOPLE MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS BASED ON CORRECT INFORMATION

Why only K1 million! Is it enough for Muvi to televise all the lies Sata has told? I think a reasonable amount would be K10 million.

please read the Kenyan news papers and listen to some of the work the media does. A journalist need not be paid to state the contrast between what was said and what has happened. Research the Félicien Kabuga case and see what the Kenyan media was able to air on a very sensitive case that implicated Government. Here anything negative about PF, we say they are de-campaigning the government. This attitude some people have has greatly resulted in the failure of our media houses to operate freely. Are you saying everyone should be pro PF? Is that even possible? Is that what Zambians want? MMD is an example for you. When they unfairly treated PF through the media what happened to them?
