CB MMD Warns of Members Exodus
The MMD on the Copperbelt says the party risks losing its members to other progressive and stable opposition parties such as the United Party for National Development (UPND) if the current wrangles are not resolved.
Copperbelt Information and Publicity Secretary, Yotam Mtayachalo has told Qfm in an interview that the wrangles in the party have the potential to affect the general performance of the party.
Mr. Mtayachalo says if the party members involved in the wrangles have the interest of the party at heart, it is important that they reach consensus on the way forward.
He adds that there is need for warring parties to come together and find an amicable solution to their different opinions.
Mr. Mtayachalo notes that the two opposition groups are exercising their democratic rights, but however reminds them not to blow their differences out of proportion thereby sending a wrong signal to the public.
He has also appealed to former President Rupiah Banda and other party veterans to help resolve the wrangles in the party.

Ba Mtayachalo,the former Trade Unionist.This character seems to be a hired gun.If a miracle happens,the Convetion takes place(God forbid),then later if they are not happy with the Leadership,will they again call for another convetion.Let Dr Mumba complete his 5yr-Term.

Bo sipopa. The truth of the matter is MMD will never bounce back to power no matter how many times they change its leadership. In zambia, once you loose power, that’s it you are gone. We have this tendency as zambians of forgetting the past and go go forward my bro.

Yes! PF will Go onday in history; but who do yu think will be the nxt? From which party? When would it be?
I wish there were a political in oppoztion which mean well in our Zambia 2de; but unfortunet, there iz non! PF and Michael had what it takes for a party in oppoztion to win election. But today; BULANDA BUSHALA!

Yeah the questions really are:who you would think will take over? from which political party and when will it happen? Otherwise by and large there is no one i repeat no one can or will defeat PF come 2016.

Ba Shipson,MMD may bounce back.The trial and error we made on PF has brought more misery than good.Next time ,pipo will be more careful not to fall into some more diception about promises.The only trial and error that worked is MMD,brought democracy and ownership of some property by individuals.

Stop confusing politics & religion. Which party in Israel voted for David & Saul? Tell that ‘Tribally Qualified’ Party president to sell himself to the whole Nation and not say “Lets remove Tongas, Bembas, Lundas, etc”. Mwaitayaaa!!
