Chibamba Kanyama Quits ZNBC, Takes Up World Bank Job

Chibamba Kanyama

Chibamba Kanyama

Exclusive for Tumfweko:
ZNBC director general Chibamba Kanyama will be quitting his job to join World Bank. Chibamba attended successful interviews at the world bank and will be relieved to leave a job he feels has put him under immense political pressure especially from his tribesmen and women in the upnd who had expected him to do them favours.
When upnd was being formed late in the 1990s, Chibamba was one of the people that helped late Anderson Mao ka by taking him to places like Chikankata, where Chibamba comes from, to consult the people.
Sources have told Tumfweko that Zambia’s deputy Ambassador to the United States Ben Kangwa, Leonard Kantumoya and a lecturer at a higher learning institution in Lusaka are among the possible candidates to replace Chibamba, who has not yet made public his impending departure.

But this will not stop him from helping UPND, the move is politically motivated.
The political pressure is from pf ordering him not to air UPND coverages, not demeaning pf thugs wild behavior, not telling the truth about a failing economy the list is endless.
MMD did the same where are they today, people will vote according to what touches them not what they see on TV or hear on radio.
Father BWALYA knows pf well, so even the biased media access dominated by pf is one of its agendas to silence the opposition.
PF tactics are mosquito net covered, even a blind man can see through.
Change your approach or it will contribute to your down fall.

Lets see who takes up the position, based on qualifications not being puppet or other lineages already known.

You were surely under political pressure because on assuming the position you did not know how politicians influence content of ZNBC. I could see you becoming gradually compromised, which is painful for a proffessional like you. wishing you well in your future endevoures where you will make descisions based on knowledge and not political influence.

That would best as he would return on another level and help in the NEW ERA of The New Zambia Soon To Come. Go forward and take up that job so that others can have a test of what you been doing, never forget the big picture-ZAMBIA. Its Zambia here, Zambia abroad and Zambia in the Air.

Stay close with new eventys as they unfold.

If you have not, its high time to make right with God. I personally need you…………………

    Be blessed.

Chibamba has been having a difficult time with his conscious working under Sata’s govt. He has struggled to explain to his relatives what he is doing at the helm of ZNBC consideraing the way the nation is being rundown by the PF. I’m sure next you will hear that he has rejoined UPND not because he is Tonga but because he is smart- smart people join UPND now. Offcourse one Bemba will take over from him after all, all such positions in the nation are a preserve of a certain region.
