Galagata Should Stop Dreaming-Chingangu

Heavyweight boxer Joseph Chingangu has rubbished Francis ‘Galagata’ Zulu’s claim that he would condemn him to a wheelchair in their long-awaited International Boxing Federation Continental Africa heavyweight title clash next month.
Chingangu was reacting to Zulu’s warning that he (Chingangu) would be beaten to pulp and would never walk again as he was too old to withstand his blows.
This comes after Exodus Stables confirmed that their IBF Continental Africa Heavyweight bout which had been put off three times for lack of funds will finally take place in Addis Ababa on May 31.
Chingangu, 43, warned Galagata to concentrate on his training rather than ‘hallucinating’.
He said fights were won in the ring and not in the media and advised him to work hard in training as he was aiming to teach him a lesson.
“He should stop day-dreaming and continue training hard. This is a serious matter so if he is not training but just talking rubbish, he will die in the ring. It’s him that will need a wheelchair; words don’t win fights but actions. I don’t believe in talking…so he should train as I am, otherwise he will eat his own words,” warned Chingangu, explaining that he would continue fighting until he turns 45 since he was blessed with good health.
The Chingangu-Galagata fight would be among a number of bouts that the IBF has lined up in Ethiopia next month.
Exodus Boxing Promotions had planned to host the fight in Dubai on an unknown date but IBF and the Ethiopian government, in conjunction with African Sports Promotions, had taken up the fight.
According to a communiqué issued by the IBF president Onesmo Ngowi, the tournament that will also feature other renowned heavyweight fights will take place at the Ethiopian Great International Trade Centre known as the “Millennium Hall”.
Other fights will see US-based Ethiopian boxer Sammy Retta battle with Ahmed Saed of Egypt for the WABA world title.
Flamboyant South African fighter Philip Ndou will tussle with Ramadhani Shauri of Tanzania for the IBF Continental Africa welterweight title while the IBF Continental Africa Female featherweight title will be an all-Kenyan affair between Fatuma Zarika and Sarah Achieng.

When i was about 15 years old Chingangu was already married and took over Kulima Tower. If asked to guess how old he was then i would say about 25 to 30.I am now 44 years old and this Chingangu claims to be 43.One of these idiots will die in the ring. You should see Chingangu’s daughter who works at Rocky Gardens. She must be about early 30′s.
