Finally, a sneak peek into Zimbabwe’s Head of State President Robert Mugabe’s office, the country’s highest place of business.
An office, which opposition party leaders are dying to enter but one the President is not budging from.
Most are familiar with the American Oval Office, as it is always depicted in television but have never set eyes on the local presidential office.
Only those closest to President Mugabe had the pleasure of knowing how his office looks like, but today a Harare businessman let the whole world inside the Zim One’s base of operation.
Probably, this is the first time, the president’s office has been opened to the world -though via a camera.
The office of the president had not been publicised in the history of Zimbabwe, but today the world got to see how it looks like.Harare businessman, Wicknell Chivayo, who calls himself Sir Wicknell on social networking site Facebook took to his account and posted four pictures with President Mugabe after a meeting held in the office.
Appreciating the fact that these graphics could be a security threat, however, the office itself is a humble one with a small old radio and a plasma television just some of the basic accessories one would find in a typical office.
From the pictures we learnt that President Mugabe watches the Qatar popular news channel Al-Jazeera, as the camera shot captured the TV screen while a world map atlas hung on the wall.
It seems President Mugabe prefers vintage deco, as the old school telephone green in colour lay beside a newer model that has a faxing feature with it.
Also on his desk was a small Zimbabwean flag and several neatly packed documents including the constitution Along with the pictures.

“A True Son of Afrika”..well i do not know. One must not pretend to be a true son of Africa and hence one must not use the western language, must not have all equipment that depict western origin, including the plasma in his office

It is good! No need for fancy furniture and the rest. It is far much better than spending million of Kwacha in furnishing the Zambian oval office where the president sits and only dozes while reading online media like ZWD, Daily nation.

That is a man of his word. His life is a true signature that says “MUGABE WAS HERE”
Long after he is gone, people will say that therewas a Bob who said “homosexuals are lower than dogs, pigs!” One who snubbed the stupidity os some Western leaders. Long live! Indeed.

@The man, or whatever you call yourself, you seem not to know the ideals of Africa. You haven’t read history. Shut up.

bob is real: look at the extrvagance of offices for these useless pf ministers. Their offices are fully furnished with expensive furniture, and other nice things; their output is zero – no wonder mcs calls them useless ministers.
