Nkana Coach Masautso Mwale has remained upbeat despite his side falling 2-0 to Al Ahly in an opening Group B encounter.
Mwale said Al Ahly had great experience at the big stage and had used it to subdue Nkana.
“Ahly is a great team and their players are hugely experienced. We missed some chances at the first half that could have changed the game’s result,” he said.
“Lack of concentration cost us much today (Saturday), but we still have a good chance to qualify. Now we shift our attention towards our next game against Ivorian side Sewe Sport”.
The Zambian champions will this weekend host Sewe Sport in their second fixture while Al Ahly face Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel.
