Kambwili Advises UPND Not to Turn Courts Into Battlefield

Patriotic Front national youth Chairman Chishimba Kambwili has advised the opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) not to turn the Courts of Law into a battlefield.
Speaking during a media briefing in Lusaka today, Mr Kambwili who is also Youth and Sport Minister says government will not sit back and watch Court premises being turned into a political battle ground.

Mr Kambwili has since appealed to the Police to ensure that such acts of political violence do not occur anywhere near the Courts of Law.

He says behavior being exhibited by the UPND cadres when they go to give solidarity to their leader at the Courts can only be compared to South Africa’s Inkata Freedom Party in Africa which he says has been labeled a violent and tribal party in the region.

Mr. Kambwili has since advised UPND youths not to be used as tools of violence by selfish politicians and has urged UPND leaders to desist from parading youths at the Courts of Law.

And Mr Kambwili says PF needs the new Constitution like any other Zambian but will not be reckless by wasting resources in prioritizing a referendum which he says is as costly as holding a General Election.

Meanwhile Mr. Kambwili has announced the long awaited official opening of the National Heroes stadium will coincide with the commemoration of the Africa Freedom day on Sunday.

Mr Kambwili says Republican President Michael Sata will officially open the stadium which will host the Africa Freedom Day commemoration activities.

@jamakudi, even if it wasn’t for lubinda and kabimba, surely kambwili president, awe teti fichitike. PF na cadre babo they are full of themselves what they do not realise is that the Zambian people are watching and they are the ones with the powerful weapon, not the pangas, catapults PF thugs use, the Zambian people have the vote which will dislodge this government in 2016. They have learnt a lesson from the mmd thugs, they are now languishing in the township.

@Abdul, I agree with you, if there are no PF cadres at the court sent by PF party, there will not be violence and fighting. He kambwili should advise his PF cadres who have been behaving like thugs to stay away from the courts. Kambwili should tell the police to arrest those causing problems from PF. We hear he is the “”minister of every government department”, labour, home affairs, health, mines etc.

Any political party has the right to escort its leader(s) to court as long as they obey the law.It is disappointing that each time HH appears in court PF supporters also find themselves at the courts, this has led to the violence witnessed.Mr Kambwili its time you tamed your youths.

Iwe Kambwili, if you have any memory at all, recall what I told that Wintet Kabwamba of yours. He even told those people at ACC that more hooligans were to go with him next time. The PF fools even entered offices. Those UPeND dunderheads did not enter court. So you have no moral rights to caution them, SHUT IT PLZ.

All political parties whose senior members are appearing before courts of law PF included are a disgrace in this case. There is no need for anyone to offer solidarity to the accused persons hoping to influence the direction of matters before the competent courts of law, leave that to their family members and legal representatives.

Unless the hired ‘supporters’ can offer to show solidarity by volunteering to go to jail with the accused once sent there, all the nonsense of riding on the roof top of the buses and falling from there and the bashing of others prove that they are simply idle minded hired fools.

@Chilakalipa, you have said it all. What solidarity can cadres offer to accused persons? These cadres just bring confusion at courts.
