PRESIDENT Michael Sata today swore in Mumba Kapumpa as new ambassador to South Korea while Salome Mwananshiku heads to Malawi as head of the mission in that country.
President Sata recently conferred on Kapumpa the State Counsel status.
The Head of State wrote on his Facebook page:
Good Afternoon Friends:
“I have just finished a swearing -in- ceremony for two Ambassadors. Ambassador Mumba Kapumpa who we have sent to South Korea and Ambassador Salome Mwananshiku who will head our mission in Malawi. Have a pleasant day,”MCS – 30/05/14

I honestly just want to know what is happening in our beloved Mother Zambia. Am sick and tired of this online rumour mongering. I hope to see the swearing in ceremony on Tv and judge for myself. Its like nobody is truthful anymore!

    Dear Friends,

All things being equal Iam sure the president is unwell as i was equally douting these online newspapers. I heard the appointment of the two envoys on radio on the 13:00 hrs news. From the sound of the voice, it was clear he is not well.

May it be well with him.

    GOD BLESS OUR LAND.

Tribal appointments. Only those from the north are benefiting. Rupiah Banda and Mwanawasa were a lot better than this tribal govt.

It does not take rocket science to identify tribal leanings that continue in the appointments of people in foreign service. so many wish this president should leave office so we can have these stooges recalled and sanity and parity return in government. Enough is is enough. Thank god the writing is on the wall!
