Bread of Life Church International overseer Bishop Joe Imakando has appealed to Zambians to stop wasting their money travelling abroad to seek divine intervention.
Bishop Imakando in an interview with Hot FM News wondered why sick people do not seek prayers locally when Zambia also has powerful men of God.

Imakando? This is the man who convinced CAVMONT Bank to install an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) at Bread of Life Church in Lusaka. An ATM in Church honestly? Jesus would be mad to see such monetary business at church More money in Imakando’s pocket. Read John 2: 15

There is nothing wrong with having an ATM at church. We are in the 21 st century a cashless society where carrying a plastic is safer than icidunku mu wallet bane naimwe. Electronic commerce has taken over our ancient ways of doing business. Nothing wrong having an ATM at Church.

All your comments are off side. comment about going out of country for miracles. God is everywhere and ready for people who need miracles.where is it written the bible that miracles can only be performed outside country? lets our faith in God and miracles will be performed everywhere in the world.

The way I see it; If the church has extra space no harm to rent it to the bank, that way it maximizes its earnings on the investment and could be less dependent on offerings.
On the other hand if the bank has observed that there’s a good population at the Church premises it could trap a bit of money by setting up an ATM right in front of them. I am not sure that the drawings from the same will only end up in Church baskets in the same way that we use ATMs at supermarkets and go to spend elsewhere. I have seen the structure of the Church and I can only congratulate the visionary behind the works, keep it up

Assuming Joe Imakando’s comments are right then it casts doubt on all those people claiming to cure through miracles overseas. Having said that can we also assume that people need not travel from Mongu, Chipata and Kasama for miracles in Lusaka? This then brings into question the whole miracle business including Imakando himself.
